Sonesta White Plains Downtown

Overall, we all had a very good stay at the Sonesta Hotel. My son, my daughter, and their families also stayed at the hotel, and were very happy. I would like to express my gratitude to Muhammad, Nissi, Anna, & staff for their excellent customer service. We will definitely stay at Sonesta when we come to NY. Thank you so much! God Bless! 🙏🤗

Lovely stay. Limited open pool time which frustrated the kids

Zero service from time I pulled up! Every one thought they were doing us a favor just to acknowledge us. Never mind that my kid was on crutches and we a ton of luggage. Then they put is in a dirty dingy room with torn wallpaper , a bed that was so angled you could roll off it. I would rather sleep in a tent! The best service I received on my stay was from the Uber eats delivery man and to clear not affiliated with this dump! But for my kid being in pain I would have moved in a nano second !!!

We arrived in the wee hours of the morning, after midnight and the check in was easy and quick. The room was quiet, as requested and the service was good. The elevators were very fast and the area around the hotel was full of shopping and eating options. We also used the pool, with our grandchildren and they enjoyed it.

Stayed with a large group of friends and all the families were very pleased with our staff. Plan on returning in the future.

Staff was amazing! Loved the lobby, bar, facilities etc. room Smelled a tad musty. No fans in bathrooms so by the time our family was done showering water was legit dripping off ceiling. That was kinda gross. Other than that all was well. Seriously, staff was sooo kind and nice at every interaction.

Stayed here for a family funeral. The hotel is clean but expensive

Spent a night and was satisfied with the amenities and customer service. The hotel acknowledged my VIP status and the kids enjoyed the pool!

My family and a few friends told me that they had a very pleasant stay at your hotel from Sunday to Monday.

I would recommend the hotel purely on location, as it is very close to downtown White Plains and the train station. However, be careful to avoid adjoining rooms. The walls and doors are so thin that we heard everything happening next door (and I mean everything)...we had restless nights listening to our neighbors have normal volume conversations and watching what felt like a respectful TV volume, but the walls are so thin that it felt like they were in the room with us. Also, the AC units were old and inefficient - the loud noise turning on woke most of our party, and the humidity in the room was so high that the towels wouldn't dry. Which, by the way, we had asked ot be refreshed each of the three nights we stayed, and which never happened. Also, check the price before you get the breakfast - a buffet cost our family of four $100 with tip. Staff was very friendly and the location is great, but not if you're looking for rest at the end of a long day.
