The front desk staff was rude and condescending. There was a party in the room next to us all night. We have two young children and when we complained they said they would comp our room. They did not comp our room and Expedia would not either. Housekeeping never cleaned our room and denied my husband towels. We came back from visiting relatives in the hospital and the hallway smelled of marijuana. I would never stay here again and would caution anyone that the staff doesn’t care about guests at all.

our stay at the hotel was great. We were traveling with our kids to go to the Strong museum. Location is about 10min drive to the museum, also about 5-10 minutes to shops like Target, Walmart, and also Olive Garden (which is a mandatary stop for us when we are traveling in the states). Location is close to a hospital and so there were some sirens through the night but they were not too disruptive. Overall experience was great, room was clean, room size was decent, service was good!

Nice modern hotel geared towards families of U Rochester students and U of R Medical Center. Comfortable and convenient. Not too much going on around, though.

Very clean rooms ..my family and I are very satisfied..we booked a premium room for 2 days a bit pricy $656.00 for 2 nights and they forgot the snacks and drinks but as soon as I called they brought it up.. I must say Alisha in the dining area is one of the most friendly and efficient person I have ever met.. we went to breakfast and we waited an hour or more because they forgot our order she apologized so many times and said the check was taken care of.. we went back the next morning for continental breakfast and she was so welcoming ..I make sure I gave her a big hug after we left and told her we will be back soon .. overall good hotel very friendly staff and very clean

Staff on site were great when I arrived. However, on the date of checkin they called me to tell me I didn’t have a room. Even though I had prepaid and checked into my room virtually the night before. They then proceeded to tell me the room I was going to have is for a doctor. I was then asked why I was coming to town. I ended up calling a rep from expedia who called the hotel. Within a few minutes I got a call back from the hotel and they now had a room for my family and I but not the one I checked into the night before. Once I got to the hotel, the front desk staff member advised that the room I initially checking into was still available?

We were looking for a stop along the way and found the Hilton Garden Inn University. It exceeded all my expectations for the very reasonable price. The area is darling and very newly constructed. All the amenities you might need, including a Jimmy Johns and Tim Hortons, cafes, brewpubs and burger joints. The kids enjoyed the pool and the parents enjoyed the chic new restaurant, Grappa. The hotel staff, Ryan especially, was so helpful and accommodating with our multiple room requests on the same floor and next to each other!

Brand new and very comfortable . Walking distance to shops/restaurants. Easy parking. We had a family trip and found the hotel accessible to major driving routes. Delicious cookies and tea were an afternoon treat!
