Holiday Inn Express Syracuse Airport, an IHG Hotel

We picked this hotel mainly because we had stayed here before and the grandkids love the pool.

Extremely loud kids yelling running, opening shutting doors, loud music. Took several attempts calling front desk to address issue. Unable to rest for more yhan 1 hour after 930pm

Forget what you know about Holiday Inn Express, this one doesn’t live up to the name. Pool was closed, which was disappointing for our children and when asking for an extra cot the manager insisted I pay $10. When the cot arrived it looked like came from a crack house.. elevator wasn’t working and the only ice machine in the building was up on the third floor. Breakfast was decent tho n conveniently close to the airport.

The heated swimming pool was amazing very relaxing quiet campus even with a huge hockey team of kids, staying there place was clean. Food was great for breakfast and my room was spotless. I would definitely recommend this place.

Hall carpet dirty, muddy, pieces of broken glass from construction. Fitness room closed. Construction until 9 p.m. next door. Noisy, banging, talking from construction. Front desk rude, unresponsive. Called ahead for baby crib to confirm a week before. Told at checkin it would be delivered. Had to go to front desk twice to ask again. Crib delivered with no blanket or bedding. Had to call again. Baby asleep in bed. Woken by construction, again by crib delivery.

Call two different times and told them we would be a late arrival called and talked to the front desk and also called IHG got there at 1 AM and they had gave our room away along with three other families and just to add it’s a dump

My family of 4 recently stayed here (April 2023) and were very pleased. Hotels were booked all around, so it was quite busy. Staff were friendly and cordial especially after a long day driving. They made sure my children got their free warm cookies which made their day. The rooms were so comfortable. They are trying to be environmentally friendly as well using eco-friendly cups, plates, and even reduce bathroom waste (no more little bottles/packages of sanitary products). Loved that! The pool was nice and warm. It's not huge but just right for a 30 to 40 min swim before bed. The continental breakfast was the best I've had in a long time, even my husband agreed which says a lot. The dining staff were so attentive and personable. They made sure the place was spotless and replaced food quickly. When my parents came by to visit us, they even complimented on how nice the facilities are there and wished they booked there too! :) Please know there was construction to renovate the place but we hardly noticed or were out of the hotel by the time they started working. We are very pleased and will definitely stay here again when in the area!!

Dirty towels left in the room. Pull out bed was extremely uncomfortable for kids. Hotel under renovation….it was loud and inconvenient.

We were told the pool was open, checked in, pool was closed. We did end up moving locations to enjoy the pool with our family. No documentation given but promised a refund

pool was not usable which is why we selected, parking was difficult. not pleased and a disappointed child
