Hampton Inn & Suites Syracuse/Carrier Circle

Overall, the hotel was good - typical for a Hampton Inn. Place was clean and staff was helpful. My kids enjoyed the pool a lot. Breakfast was good too. My only little complaint was that the room was a tad small for my family but we managed just fine. I would come back.

Excellent hotel overall. Super clean, modern, ans comfortable. Rooms were very spacious!! Our family of five had room to spare. The breakfast was the typical free eggs/waffle/ceral/bacon type, but well stocked. The staff was attentive and accommodating. I'd stay here again without a doubt.

This has to be one of the best affordable hotels my family and I have ever stayed at. Booking, check in, breakfast, pool, service were amazing and easy. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast bar was very well organized and clean. Pool and gym were great. Definitely recommend this hotel if you were in the area!!

Always a pleasure to stay here. Had the kids and grandkids join us for a Christmas pizza party and staff were so accommodating. We had a great time, thank you Hampton Inn!!

The room was still dirty dog hair and my grandchildren and have allergies to animals. The beds were very uncomfortable

Great Hotel and friendly staff! Our room easily accommodated our family of six with plenty of room to spare. I know things have changed since I worked in the hotel business many years ago (specifically the Hampton Inn in St. Charles, MO) but I found it odd that the employees were not easily identified by wearing a uniform....just in very casual street clothes...the reason I point this out is because I was going back to my room very late one night after finishing my kids laundry and I thought I was being followed by a stranger...turns out the individual was the hotel employee on staff for 3rd shift. Nothing about him was identifiable as an employee bc he did not have a name tag, uniform or logo apparel. My other comment is about housekeeping and, I realize that the world has changed due to COVID and employees not really wanting to have to work for their wages anymore which is a challenge for all companies and employers, but somethings/small things go along way to making a property still shine in the eyes of the guests such as wiping the baseboards in the bathrooms. Our bathroom was fairly clean except for the dirty baseboards around the toilet/tub area. That made the room feel as though it was haphazardly cleaned with no attention or care to detail -- so, the room wasn't really living up to the standard of having been sanitized as is being touted by so many hotel chains these days. I know you strive to be the best so hopefully these are helpful comments.

The most basic need in an overnight stay is a clean bed, which I will say this property had. On the down side: someone else's leftover food was still in our fridge, kitchen counter was sticky and dirty, sticky spot still on surface of desk, sticky spot still on surface of coffee table. When we went to the pool in the morning it was in a general disarray; day before's dirty towels still there, no clean towels, no toilet paper in that bathroom, someone else's socks and some kind of paper product wet and strewn about. Also, I was the first one to shower, and was unpleasantly surprised to run out of hot water. Breakfast was good and well run. If we travel to Syracuse as a family looking for a pool and breakfast I will not be choosing this property again.

Very clean. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. The pool wasn't open when we went there and that was the only reason we went there so not too happy about that. If we would have known, we would've went and done something else, but the front desk kept telling us one more hour. Our kids waited in their swimsuits just to watch tv and change in their pajamas and go to bed. They did discount for the inconvenience. And it wasn't fun to just sit in a room
