DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Syracuse

Service was amazing. They allowed us to check in early so baby could take a nap. Even gave us a courtyard room so she could have outdoor access. Quietest airport hotel I have ever stayed in. Amazing staff.

The pool was overrun with small children and we were not able to use it. There was an event going on and the hallways were extremely crowded with event goers not giving much space for us to pass through

The property has ample parking and is close enough to the interstate to be convenient. Digital key was not available for us as we booked though Expedia. We stayed 2 nights. The room was okay but not what you would expect from a Hilton. The bathroom tile was dirty, but o/w the bathroom was okay. The room safe was locked and we couldn't be bothered to remedy that, so it was unusable. The balcony was a nice size but the railing was just mid thigh high...not sure how that passes building code for the 7th floor. Bed was decent and the room itself clean. We sat at the bar the first night and the area was overrun with kids running and screaming after 10pm. The second day we used the pool/spa and again kids to the max. Hot tub was full of kids under 10 despite the rules clearly stating no-one under 16 could use it. The pool was not heated and was too cool for our liking (I would guess high 70's). Night 2 we sat on our balcony and a large group down below with kids again being very loud. Finally security shut it down at 10:30. Thin walls in the rooms as we could hear someone snoring in another room. Overall I would say it was average for a Hilton and likely understaffed based on details not attended to.

Cheap rate. But it's not in central Syracuse. The area gets dark at night - a little hard to find. Hotel is fine. We went as a family and with friends and they were very good at accommodating what we needed :)

Hotel was nice. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Problem was cleanliness of room. Smelled of smoke with the cigarette butts and ashes on the balcony to prove it was true. There was a layer of dust across the headboard of the bed and the bottom of the lamp. There was also a puddle of some strange sticky stuff on the bureau’s top and a plastic children’s toy behind it. Overall the room needed to be clean. Unfortunately could change room as hotel was sold out so I took out my Clorox wipes and Lysol and clean it the best I could.

Staff was courteous and helpful. First room air conditioner was broken on a hot night. Second room smelled like a wet dog. Third room was accessible and very small for a family of 4 with bags. Pool facilities were quite nice and fun for our young boys. Good Precor gym equipment
