Hampton Inn Buffalo-Airport / Galleria Mall

What we loved about the place was the McDonald's and Chick-fil-A were just across to walk, so if kids are picky that was the best option. Breakfast was good with a lot of options, hot breakfast with omelette, waffles, oatmeal fruits. The pool was great but too much chlorine, water was muddy and not clear, don't know why. So did not feel like it was the clean pool. Convenient to highways, malls, and food places, beds are comfortable, plus they have nice tables at reception so people can take out and eat there with family. The receptionist can be trained, the lady was on the call with someone while she was attending to us continuously, she did not greet us, lift her head to look at us, 2 minutes super fast script to explain the lobby, and breakfast timing that we had to ask to repeat. Every time we went she had no name or uniform and always talking to someone on the phone that to on the speaker, I don't know how this is allowed at the front desk that they can talk to someone constantly while attending to customers, no greetings, smile nothing. She looked highly frustrated with this role. Rooms are deceiving with curtains, have very narrow windows, so if you want sunlight and privacy then please go on a higher floor, the first floor if facing parking it will be totally dark with dark curtains. Overall comfortable stay with family, and I will highly recommend it.

Overall quiet and convenient place to stay for dining and shopping. Ok if only needing place to stay for a night or two. Beds and pillows were worn and uncomfortable. Very small rooms for a family of 4. Would stay again if price was right. Parking lot very busy with two fast food restaurants sharing space.

We loved this hotel. Great pool and hot tub. Gym is 24 hours which worked well for my late night family. Excellent location. McDonald’s and chick fil a in the parking lot. Starbucks across the road, target, 5 below. The Walden galleria is less than 5 mins away. Couldn’t be a better location. My only complaint is they told another traveller who asked if we were in the hotel we were and our room number and put them across the hall from me without asking me. I am a victim of abuse and my families safety is extremely important to me. If asking if a guest is there they should be saying they can’t confirm or deny that.

staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were extremely spacious and clean. my only complaints were regarding noise: the guests across the room from us had younger children and at times, late at night you could hear the children yelling and parents talking to the children. my other complaint was the hot tub was closed during the duration of our stay and the main reason we booked was for the hot tub so that was disappointing. other than those two complaints the hotel was amazing and we will for sure return in the future.

I wish I took the lady's name at the front desk... she was fantastic... she seemed like the only person working there, we checked in after dinner, she was there at Breakfast, serving doing everything, honestly it was insane. Only knock for me is other guests and how they act - in the pool parents let their kids do anything and it's brutal and painful - we ended up leaving the pool because i didnt want my kids around that type of thing. But Hotel is great and we've booked here few times before and will continue to stay

Property was decent and the room was nice. There was a children’s hockey tournament going on so the hotel was filled with kids. Although it was noisy in the common areas, it was surprisingly quiet in our room, which says a lot. The pool was open but the hot tub was ‘closed until further notice’ - a little disappointing. All in all, a decent hotel at a good price in a convenient location to highways, restaurants and the mall.

Nice staff and property has a modern look. Some upgrades may be needed to address humidity/moisture issues(no fans in bathrooms) in the suites. It is a family friendly hotel, which can lead to much unwanted noise throughout the afternoon & evening.
