Hyatt Place Buffalo/Amherst

stayed here for a night with two young toddlers. we booked the room with 2 queen beds and sofa. the room was really spacious and clean. large sofa for the kids to lounge and enough space for them to run around. check in was quick and smooth and lots of parking spots right outside the main entrance. it was easy for us to grab things from our car. hotel is close to the highway very convenient most places we visited were a short drive away. would definitely stay here again!

I like everything, I will recommend friends and family to this property. Next time Hyatt palace will my first choice for my visite at Buffalo. Excellent service I am very comfortable in my room.

Lousy bedding, mini bar. The room was not prepared for three adults and three kids. Lack of sitting arrangement in the Place dinning area.

Great family hotel big rooms

We are Hyatt Place regulars, and this one lives up to the standard of the rest of them: very family friendly, fantastic staff and good value for the money. Really enjoyed our stay at this location close to downtown Buffalo.

Loud noise, room was not available with two queens , separate room provided but not connected. I have young children. Asked tor milk at night and it was a big deal to provide for some reason because they dont sell milk . Facilty is great, just need little customer service training .

The only place I stay when visiting Western New York. Terrific people, very clean and safe, terrific location - near airport, shopping and great restaurants. I’ll a business traveler but I see lots of families.

We chose this hotel based on other reviews thinking we’d have a quiet stay. The evening staff when we checked in was friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and beds were comfortable, although a few more pillows would have been nice. However, we thought we’d be in a quieter hotel, and unfortunately for us that was not the case. Several youth sport teams were staying as well, which meant young kids and their siblings running up and down the halls, yelling and slamming doors well past 10 pm. (Of course, this could happen at any hotel and is not the hotel’s fault.) We were also put in a room right next to the elevator which likely made it worse for us. That aside, the room was great. I’ll add that I was under the impression breakfast was not included, and that there was a restaurant on site. That was incorrect — breakfast was provided off the lobby. We got there at the tail end of the serving hours and found some things, like yogurt, were all gone and not being replenished. Eggs, sausages and waffles were just okay, nothing to write home about. We enjoyed some fruit and toast.

I wish they had a better menu for late night orders. On our last day , for breakfast there was no oatmeal or cups put out for coffee. Otherwise a great hotel to stay in with family .

The hotel staff was extremely welcoming and informative during the check-in process. The room was clean and well equipped for our family of three. We enjoyed our stay on the property. The property has parking to accommodate their guests.
