Hampton Inn Albany-Western Ave/University Area

Great find for a family traveling. Breakfast was plentiful for all of us. The rooms were large and comfortable. Shopping and dining are near as well.

We stay at this Hampton Inn frequently, my son and his family live less then 1 mile away. Hotel is always clean, and well maintained. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating. Nice breakfast. Great place to stay

Our stay was stay ok the housekeeper never came around asking us if we need clean towels or to collect our old ones and the guy in the kitchen part for breakfast yelled at my child for throwing away a whole apple. Well the apple had a huge hole in it and I wasn’t going to let her eat that so he had no right speaking to my little girl like that at all either

Hotel was very nice. Workers very kind and pleasant. The pool and fitness room was magnificent. My children and I will definitely return.

Hotel is lovely and clean and staff excellent no issues at all. Great! The eatery mall across the road wasn’t nice and we had to go from place to place to get served and it was a little intimidating for kids

We traveled a far way and got here a bit earlier than expected. We asked if we could be accommodated with a room but our room was not ready yet. We were informed there were no other accomodations. We decided to have breakfast and suggested we return 11-12 pm. Mind you the staff had been calling to charge my card from the day before they called me 5x and I explained my card is locked and I won't make payment until I arrive which was the option I chose when booking (this is to safe card my info). My husband and child returned and my daughter wasn't feeling well and he asked if a room was available and he was told no this was after 12 pm. He asked to speak to a supervisor and the clerk at the desk lied and said no managerial staff was on site and it was only her. She then proceeded to charge my husband an additional $60, on what we already paid for a room with smaller beds! I won't book here again the clerk had an attitude and her actions seemed unscrupulous. Also you can hear other guest in their rooms so good luck if you are trying to get sleep.

We were treated like family. The hotel was new but warm and welcoming. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Definitely coming back.
