I have stayed at this property many times. The rooms are nice, clean and have wonderful showers. As always, the staff are great from top to bottom. The breakfast stinks. Watery, weird scrambled "eggs" and waffles in plastic wrap. . . . The best part of staying there is the location. There is a great (seasonal) ice cream shop in front of the property, and across the street is Ralph's, a great family run Italian/American restaurant that I go to pretty much every night when I stay at this hotel.

Although I stayed for one night it was wonderful. The bed was comfortable. Slept like a baby. The room was nicely spaced out. Clean and comfy.

Great place under new ownership, went there for a soccer tournament, the only bad thing is too many kids unsupervised. Not the hotels fault, the front desk guy was doing his best to keep things in order with those kids. Fortunately most of the parents were taking care of their own.

I stayed here a few times with my family when we visited my brother at UAlbany; last time was 2018. This hotel never gave 5- or even 4-star vibes, but it is pretty clean and the location is great. However, I'm pretty sure this weekend was my last there. The room had run down, tattered furniture, which I feel should be addressed. I believe the rugs have not been cleaned/steamed in God knows how long, b/c my son's clean socks were so dirty after walking around the room for a few hours that I threw them away. The staff is cordial enough, but not as friendly as in other properties. It was cool for what it was, but won't be going back.

On first presentation the hotel shows very nicely. It's on the inside where you will find all its short comings. The pool was so murky you couldn't see the bottom. The shower was covered in mold and one of the bed covers has old lipstick on it that we found in the morning. (Neither of us wear lipstick) starting at 9pm and throughout the night there was kids running up and down the hallway like it was a racetrack and no one every tried to stop them. Upon check out we told this to the attendant and all they had to offer was " we hope you will give us a try again" like every other response to the bad reviews. I should have listened. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE.

We basically booked a room here on the way home from a day trip so the kids could go swimming. The website says "pool and whirlpool" well there is no whirlpool at all so I dont know what that means. The pool was small but thats fine. The kids enjoyed themselves very much. However...there was a light fixture in the pool that was burned out and DANGLING into the pool from wires! Not loose in the socket but literally swaying around at least 9 inches away from the pool wall. Scary. Our "suite" was okay. Not the cleanest or dirtiest room I have ever been in but you certainly couldnt put the kids to bed and have any space for the grown ups to stay up later. It was bedtime for all.

Outstanding And very nice place to stay with your family. I highly recommend this hotel. Michael was fantastic and very courteous.
