Hilton Garden Inn Albany/SUNY Area

I really liked the proximity to the college. Unfortunately we were there for a family weekend (3days), I chose it because there was a pool and with such a nice stay I knew we would love a pool. Unfortunately the pool was out of water. I am highly disappointed that it really put us damper on the stay. I would just have expected that from a Hilton.

A great stay as always but every time we stay the pool is closed which is super disappointing when you have kids.

We were in town for a lacrosse tournament. We stayed with several other families. Front desk staff was great, the were very helpful, accommodating and kind to our whole party.

We checked in, went to the room to change as the kids were so excited to go in the pool, went down to the pool and turned right around. It was DISGUSTING. Thick seaweed like floaters at the bottom, brown sides, tons of hair clumps floating, a dental flosser, tons of chipped paint everywhere and a dirty wet sock to top it off. The room that the pool was in was probably 95 degrees and felt like a ces pool. VILE. I told my kids- “absolutely not” as they looked on with disappointment and disgust. They went upstairs to pack and I went to the desk to let them know we would not be staying there. I would like to know about how to get a refund. The front desk supervisor, said I would have to go through the 3rd party that I booked through for a refund. Nice lobby, dirty splatters on the wall in the bathroom of our room, odd smell in the room, and OH THAT POOL!
