Comfort Inn Santa Fe

The management of the hotel was totally unacceptable. We had a death in the family and tried to cancel our reservations. Management would not even talk to us. Their reception staff consistently told us she was not available. This was after several days of trying to speak to her. We were told by staff that the only thing we could do was change the dates of the reservation which is what we ultimately ended up doing. To make matters worse, our credit card information was stolen by personnel at the hotel. This was the last place we used the credit card and after this the card was compromised. Management and the personnel at this hotel cannot be trusted in any form. It was a bad experience all the way around. We have never given a bad review, but this hotel merited this review.

We were staying here due to a family emergency that turned into a death in the family. The manager was very kind with us and the hotel was great. Only minor complaints. Only 5 lb dumbbells in the fitness center and many of the TV channels didn't work.

Great for a family weekend stay. Friendly staff, fantastic vibe and lovely breakfast options.

The hotel has a very good vibe and welcoming staff. The breakfast is good and during our stay the hotel was sold out. Lot of attractions around for kids activities Only negative was the jacuzzi/ hot tub was broken and was looking forward for it. However, the overall convenience of the stay was great

Our stay was pretty horrible. Our first night during a heatwave in New Mexico, our AC went out, we endured through the evening hours, and reported it next day. They did replace the unit for the 2nd night. Then on the 2nd night, we came back to room with AC working, but no shower curtain. The only staff member was the one person at the desk. She seemed to think it was funny that we did not have one, she did replace the missing curtain, but was very un-professional and immature. The entire time we were there the first floor smelled very bad like a baby diaper, and the only elevator was not working properly.

Need exhaust fans for bathrooms. Boiled eggs were suspect, had one family member that got sick off them.

The Internet never worked. Troubleshooted with the property multiple times for an hour. The property is just about okay for families and is definitely not worth the price paid. It's a 2-star property.

What a wonderful stay. The women at the front desk was wonderful. Oatmeal cookies were awesome!!! Hotel and staff were awesome. We will definitely tell our friends and family to book here. We will be booking here again.

Well it sits next to a liquor store which made us a little weary but turned out no issue. People just allow their kids to run up and down the hall yelling. Its not the properties fault. But overall good stay

Our stay was fine. Lots of good things: the staff was friendly, they had fresh cookies in the lobby, the breakfast was good, the kids enjoyed the pool. Some issues: the halls were a little dingy, the shower controls were odd, to get to the exercise room you have to go through the pool area which was locked until 10. Only 3 exercise areas and 1 of them was broken. I'd stay here again but it wasn't my favorite hotel on our trip.
