Comfort Inn & Suites

Friendly/attentive staff, great housekeeping, clean, family friendly, great breakfast options, crystal clear pool, all around wonderful stay. The only con was that mattresses were too firm for my liking, but that's more a personal preference.

Nice friendly reception. Room clean, ready and quiet until kids upstairs started to run around. Three areas for improvement: 1. Like to hang clothes for next day in a closet or other place -- not in bathroom. I am used to having an alcove or closet with hangers. 2. Pool. Part of my daily routine is to exercise and that includes swimming laps. The pool here was too short for that part. 3. Breakfast. All hotels now a days offer breakfasts. Some cold and ridiculous and the better places hot with multiple choices. However, too late. When traveling we get on the road early to avoid trucks and traffic. We are often on the road long before 6AM. So, we seldom get to enjoy the breakfasts for which we are paying. I noticed that we are not the only ones leaving before "breakfast" is offered. What time is good? For us it would be by 5AM. Still the visit was good and will include this on subsequent travels. Usually twice a year.

Have stayed here a couple of times this summer while working on relocating a family member. The staff is always courteous and helpful and the hotel is great.

Very first morning I was here, I was warned by a gentleman making the breakfasts that we must be careful walking around barefoot because the women at the front desk were extremely rude and would not allow anyone to be barefoot around their hotel. Now mind you that this man is referring to my 4 year old son whom was planning on playing at the pool as well that morning. Well boy was that man right!! These women were down right awful and extremely disrespectful to my children and my wife. Apparently a bit on the racist side as well seeing how apparently hispanic families are allowed to have drinks and glassware in the pool area here but my family was yelled at for having a plastic cup of coffee with a lid on it as soon as the hispanic family left the pool area as if they were watching us on the cameras the entire time. All vending is out of order in the entire hotel and the elevators were also out of order leaving elderly people who NEEDED these accommodations to find a way to get downstairs. Overall it was an absolutely horrible stay and if i could give negative stars i would. I can't belive any GM would consider hiring such awful people to run their hotel!!

The staff were pleasant upon my arrival. The room was nice. The shower head was a bit ackward and didnt like but the room was fine. The pool was nice and clean. The coffee bar all say was great. Breakfast was fine except the person assigned to work in that room had a smart comment to make about everything you did in the room (i.e. I made my son a waffle using the directions and got him all set up and then I came back to make me one. I started the same way by misting the non-stick spray onto the machine and he told me that it didnt do any good to spray the machine because it was evaporating before I could pour the batter. ) Well the first one came out fine so why. Then he watches over you like as if you are going to steal food or something. I didnt appreciate him at all and ended up telling my children we would go eat elsewhere.

Everything was great. Only down fall was the pool was out of order. My kids were really looking forward the swimming.

Close to family in Edgewood. Easy in and out. Location is very convenient.
