Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown

Check in and out was easy. Visited during Balloon Fiesta and the hotel coordinated snacks and activities for the kids. Everyone on staff that I interacted with was very pleasant and helpful.

Room seemed older. Had a leaky bathroom sink and wasn't able to open the sliding door for fresh air. Pool was very small for the amount of kids and families that were trying to use it. I saw several families leave the pool due to overcrowding. Staff was very friendly.

Hotel has some wear and tear that has not been addressed. Bathroom had a frosted, but see through, door. Awkward for a family of 4.

My family and I always stay here when we come to Albuquerque. It’s always clean, the staff is very nice and helpful, and the beds are so comfortable!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sheraton. It was located in a convenient area, clean, safe, and comfortable. Just keep in mind they do no offer free breakfast (we are a large family so we always like the free breakfast) but they have a starbucks and restaurant you can order from. Also, there is Chili's and a breakfast restaurant in the same parking lot, so just walk on over. We will stay again.

I tried to check and the clerk would not check me in, stated my room wasn’t ready, I stated there’s 200 rooms here and not one is clean, I stated ok … I’ll wait… as I sat there and watched her check on 5 or more Families … I stayed why are you checking them in and not us? Your room is not ready mam, she stated! I told her I don’t understand … you mean my room will be ready right at 4? I stated are you discriminating against us? I’ve never been treated like this? …Again I watched several other families check in… at 3:50 she checked us in to a room on 2nd floor with a window to the roof! This clerk never suggested anything like … for 59 more dollars we can find you a clean room! I spoke to night manager who was no help! I was already in tears and I’m 80 and I was tired! We will never stay at the Sheraton uptown again!

The property is in a great location, lots of dining & shopping in the area, and we felt safe. Great amenities! The staff was very friendly, my children enjoyed the pool, the gym room was nice, and my husband and I enjoyed the bar in the lobby. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely stay again!

The hotel needs to address their toilet seat. Flimsy. A family member off the toilet seat due to the flimsiness of the seat.

Expedia customer service transferred my reservation from a Marriott not too far from this location. Expedia tried to do a good thing and booked me a junior suite with a King. The hotel staff was welcoming and friendly. The junior suite was so run down, we asked to be moved to a regular room with a King. It was only slightly better. This property needs significant updating. The carpets are so worn and dirty, the seams are showing and exposed. It's ashamed that this property is so run down, when the staff work hard to provide a positive experience for customers.

My husband is very OCD so he checks every hotel we ever happen to go to first room we were placed he found bed bugs on the mattress second room was better only reason we switched rooms vs leaving completely was because we paid up front and it was non refundable hotel looks nothing like pictures provided which is why we booked here and second was the pool for the kids the pool room stunk pool seemed dirty smelled like nothing but chlorine i know thats how they keep the water clean but the smell was too overwhelming and wet towels everywhere didn't help needless to say our kids didn't get in and the jacuzzi is false advertisement it's closed off and filled with rocks and a huge plant the guy who checked us in and switched us was friendly and helpful and we left the room for maybe an hour no more then 2 and came back was told we was checked out the guy assisting us was a bit rude had to pull up confirmation email just to show proof
