Sonesta ES Suites Albuquerque

The room was fine. We were short on towels and toilet paper in our room. When I went to the front desk to ask for some more, there was some female with her face picked all over, talking weird and couldn’t stand up straight. She was high as a kite probably on meth. She took forever with the guy in front of me and I just walked out. The room above us had kids which were running around all night after 11pm.

We like how family friendly the whole environment is!

Booked my reservation 45 minutes before showing up on a Monday night. The app said there were "8 rooms left available" at the time of booking. I showed up and the hotel said they were overbooked and had no rooms available and couldnt accommodate us. I contacted customer service and they said they couldn't get a hold of the hotel. Went to another booking site, and it showed this hotel still had available rooms...overall quite a big stressful debacle for the family late at night after a long day of driving. Don't trust this hotel.

The hot tub was hot. The pool was clean. The court was great due to having my kids with me in my business trip. The breakfast was delicious!

The breakfast options were great. The staff made it seem like we were all a big family coming in to eat. The room we had was spectacular. 2 beds, on 2 levels with 2 full bathrooms and a full kitchen. 3 tv's in the entire place. We were in absolute heaven. Will definitely book there again.

What’s with all the people hanging out at night, we’ll after midnight? There was a girl keeping watch and a bunch of others around the pool areas and then two buildings were blinking their lights as some sort of code…. It was bizarre. Glad my kids weren’t with me to witness it

This seems to be a hotel for drug users and not families. There was food, pill bottles and old clothes under the beds- the housekeepers definitely haven’t looked under them in ages- the carpets were stained with blood and vomit. People were smoking joints and drinking all over, homeless people were wandering the property, the lock on my door was damaged and it looked like someone had tried to kick it in at some point. If this doesn’t deter you, there was a sign titled WARNING on the inside of our door saying to lock all doors and windows and keep the blinds pulled at all times and never to leave children alone inside 😳I selected this hotel since it was more expensive (300 per night) and I thought that would mean it was a good place. I was wrong.

First off Jamal is phenomenal. He is so helpful and gives a great customer service experience. The only downfall to the whole place was the thin floors. There were kids running around and what sounded like slamming bowling balls on the floor until 2 in the morning. Jamal tried to get them to quiet down. My wife went up there but nothing. Highest compliments to Jamal though!

I think the property has a lot of amenities that my family loves. I did not like how expensive the deposit fee is for a one-night stay. It was more than my room total. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay.

Friendly PM staff. Comfortable stay with family. Only compliant eggs and coffee where out by 8:15 and not refilled.
