Peppermill Resort Spa Casino

The Peppermill is our favorite place in Reno, NV! We’ve stayed here a couple times now and we will be back. The dining options are great! We got a really nice upgrade on our stay this time. The room was elegant and spacious! We loved it! The pools are always wonderful to swim in and family friendly!

Our family has stayed at this hotel many times but this was our first time back in about 3 years. The prices have gone <> up for food, etc - seemingly more than most places- considering the economy. The increase in price wouldn’t be so bad if the food quality had maintained, but it has gotten considerably worse. Previous trips we always enjoyed our meals and found the food served at the pool to be quite good, but this was literally awful and inedible. Not one person in our group of 4 people could even eat the pizza because it was so bad; globs of cheese, bad flavor, lukewarm. The restaurant food wasn’t much better. I ordered a prime rib dinner which said it was served with vegetables and mashed potatoes and it arrived with fried hashbrown potatoes that were the same ones that came with the breakfast plates. The potatoes were so oily that I couldn’t eat more than a couple bites. The vegetables were coated in a thick butter sauce that overwhelmed the vegetables. After a couple meals, we decided to leave the hotel for the rest of our meals. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable as always. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Very luxurious hotel. We stayed for three nights and it was very quiet. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were the best we have stayed in and of course there was so much to do for the whole family. We will definitely be staying again in the future!

Too expensive resort fee wise. Poor dining options for quick items. Not everyone wants to sit at spend 2 hours eating especially with kids

We have visited this hotel many times and have always had such a wonderful time. However I unfortunately cannot say the same this time around. It started with my room not being ready at check-in and after waiting close to 2 hours for our 2nd room to become available we come to find out the room we were assigned had a stain and that was causing the delay. And because we had asked for 2 rooms together since we were going to have a few kids with us and it didn’t work out. In the whole hotel they couldn’t assign us other connecting rooms so I had to either split my children up into 2 different rooms on 2 different floors or have all 4 kids in 1 room. Which is ultimately what we had to do. Then after dinner we walk back into our room and find a very intoxicated man laying on our bed. Apparently it was a system malfunction and they escorted this person into our room with all our belongings. This was a very scary situation to say the least.

As a local we always prefer to stay at the Peppermill. We enjoyed the pool area although it would be nice if one pool was adult designated because there were a lot of splashing kids. Would recommend again.

For my first time being there, the whole experience at Peppermill left a lasting impression on me. I definitely recommend to family and friends and I look forward to visiting again.

I love this hotel because it is clean and always has excellent service. I have been coming here with my family since 2013.

Noise level was high. We could not sleep with people banging on doors, opening and slamming doors throughout the night and children running and screaming

The lady who checked in was friendly and also helpful by letting us know immediately where to find our tower and the poop area as my kids were so anxious to go
