I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The room was okay—nothing special, but it served its purpose. Refrigerator is available but microwave is extra charge. The highlight was the variety of activities available for families, including an arcade, bowling, and a cinema, which kept everyone entertained. The pool was decent but not fancy. Also kept very cold. All seating was set in the sun, and if you wanted any shade, you had to pay extra for an umbrella or a cabana. Mo extra charge for parking or valet. Overall, it’s a good spot for family fun, but there are areas where the experience could be improved.

We came for my wife’s bday . GSR is great for families with a lot of things to do . As a couple we were disappointed with the pool cuz the pool bar was really expensive and the hotel lets non guests use the pool if they pay, so it was really crowded ! We was looking forward to using the hot tub and pool but was unable too due to too many people . I don’t recommend GSR for couples . Very crowded with kids .

The carpet was in need of cleaning and poorly vacuumed. I was uncomfortable with walking barefoot in my room. The shower had mildew, again I did not want to be barefoot in the shower and needed to place a towel between my feet and the shower floor. The beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I cut my shorten my stay to just the one night. The pool was filled with noisy children and could be heard up to the 10 th floor. It would have been nice to use the resort but there is no time set aside for adults.

Nice, modern rooms. It was clean, though one day we requested a cleaning and it didn’t happen. Nice pool area; but, the pool and one of the hot tubs were very cloudy. Also, the pool hours are shorter than expected. It would be nice, when they close the pool and the hot tubs are still open, if that could be adult time in the hot tubs. A lot of kids were using the hot tubs as pools after the pool closed down.

We always stay at GSR when visiting with friends from NV, it offers so much for families, or adults within the resort, and the kids stay busy, plus there’s a local water park, about 10 minutes away, which makes for fun on hot days. My only problem was our initial room smelled of cigarettes & for someone who suffers from chronic migraine, I had to ask for another room to be transferred to, and that was not a problem, the room did not smell at all, and I was extremely Thankful for it. We will continue to stay at GSR for all of the amenities and services it offers!

My room was upgraded & it was very spacious but I requested slippers & a robe if they have them were not in the room & the night before I’m checking out(3 nights staying) I got a message I can check in & lucky requested items…it was too late & inconvenient. There were no 2 bottles of water in the room when I first checked in which supposed to be & it was a bit disappointing. The spa level has many family friendly features so I would maybe come back.

Stayed there for 3 nights, the staffs are very nice and polite. The rooms very good. The resort amenities were awesome. The pool, cinema, bowling alley, arcade were very good for kids enjoyment. Buffet was good. Overall we were happy with the stay.
