Hyatt Place Reno Tahoe Airport

Overall the stay was fine. We had a few issues. It’s a non-smoking hotel but there was someone smoking on our floor. The hotel tried to find the person. They also sprayed a lot of an odor cleaning spray, which was horrible for my mother in law to breathe. There was some rambunctious kids in the pool who cornered my kids. However breakfast was good and over all the staff were helpful

My family and I enjoyed our stay.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. We stayed here one night with our family of four because we had a late arrival in to the airport. The hotel airport shuttle takes about less than 5 minutes. Breakfast buffet included (scrambled eggs and chorizo) with choice of cereals bagels fresh fruit.

This was a great stay for our large family. Wonderful room and a great breakfast to send us off!

We had a nice over night stay. we’re a family of 4. we had two double beds and the pull out sofa is nice. i have a teen girl and boy that get their own bed vs sleeping on a cot. Very friendly staff!

The overall condition of the property was clean and well-kept, but amenities and services were poor. We didn't know that you need to stay 3 plus days in order to get housekeeping service and towels had to be requested. Barely any shampoo, conditioner or soap available for a family of 5. During one of the nights we stayed there, suddenly the property was out of hot water and we called and later found out that there was only one boiler for the entire hotel properly and maintenance was called in immediately to fix it. We waited over an hour until almost midnight (since the hot water outage happened late in the evening) and was able to take a hot shower afterwards. No apologies or update on the hot water status and we had to constantly call and check to make sure hot water came in since it was very cold. We were also tired and waiting to take a shower. We will likely not come back and visit this hotel property again for what it's worth.

It was great! Check in was super easy and fast. Our room was nice and roomy, comfortably fitting our family of five. Would definitely stay again!

Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms exceeded my expectations. Spacious for a family of 6.

Great, friendly, happy vibe. Food was good and convenient for dinner (burger) and the breakfast was okay with unlimited bacon and scrambled eggs, oj, toast options, yogurt, etc. Coffee and ice water available at all times. The staff was welcoming and professional. If I had been there with my kids, they would've been disappointed that the pool was closed (waiting on a pump part) but it didn't affect us. There was a motor noise, possible our neighbor's AC, that was slightly noisy at night. The sofa bed mattress wasn't good, looked like it needed to be inflated or something, but the couch itself was comfortable enough to sleep on. I mentioned it to the front desk person and she said they'd look into it. We ended up at Hyatt Place after leaving Comfort Inn & Suites with the no-flow swirly toilet, noisy exit door near our room, and gushy bed. HP was definitely in a different class!

Roomy hotel, beds were upgraded and the cabinets looked great. Loved the frig but missed the microwave. The linen, bedding was good, but the sofa and sofa bed looked worn. Even the carpet was dirty. I walked on it with white socks and it got dirty. RECOMMENDATION: Add heated, wood tiles. Update the breakfast menu. I've stayed at both Hyatts in/near Gold River and we also stayed at couple of Hyatt in Oregon. I was really impressed with their breakfast options, waffles, fresh eggs. I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the processed eggs and pancakes with tastes like processed McDonalds food [my kids stopped wanting it at ages 7 and 9], now they are teenagers. Overall I really like the staff and room size. Check in was easy and whenever I needed something, it was quick. The size of the room was very nice, with sitting area. We came to ski and it was nice to have a separate sitting area to eat when we didn't feel like sitting downstairs for breakfast or going out to dinner. Convenient but NEEDS landscaping to make it more welcoming. It was good location but would be better if there was landscaping. Liked that Costco and other shopping areas nearby, including the airport.
