DoubleTree by Hilton Omaha Southwest

Hotels.com advertises a room with 2 queens for my family when that’s not actually available. I was due to arrive at midnight with my family and confirmed with the hotel directly. Arrived in a rainstorm at midnight and the had good Ben my room away without another room for 100 miles

The overall stay was enjoyable as expected, and despite being surrounding by hundreds of kids because of a sporting event, I slept comfortably and peacefully. The only small hiccup to my stay was there were two sets of items belonging to the guest who stayed in the same room that were not removed. There was a moment that I thought maybe I had entered into someone else’s room.

No one in the hotel industry should put a guest in our room. Next door to not only the side exit that went to the parking lot, but also the main entrance to the offices and the pool. All night doors were slamming, people were yelling, and the kids obviously didn't have to obey the pool hours. No sleep and we checked in after midnight due to airline delay. No happy at all with this hotel, the undersized bathroom with a very slipper shower floor and nasty smell throughout. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to try to get a good night's sleep in this place. It is the worst Doubletree I have ever visited.

The first room I was in smelled so strongly of DOG URINE my child woke up with hives from this. Second room wasn't bad until the last night of our stay and the smoke detector went off at 3:30 am waking up myself, boyfriend and our 1 year old. I requested a refund and was told they could off me free breakfast for the day I left! I was on my way home from this vacation no I do not want a free breakfast ticket. I would have much rather a refund due to the fact. I would not recommend.

I got the king suite and was disappointed with the condition. The chair next to the couch was covered in mysterious white stains. Gross. The curtains were the same way. The bedding was fine. The bathroom door didn't have a way to stay closed. Overall disappointed since I paid extra to have a nice room with my family.

Great location for connecting with family events.

I loved the burger and chatting with staff while I ate late at night. The bed was super comfortable. I slept without noise like a baby. I had driven a long way, and had to get up and drive again. I will ALWAYS stay at a HILTON :)

When we arrived there was no parking because of a family reunion being held in the hotel, the employee that checked me in was less than polite with me, there were no key cards/they weren’t working so if I hadn’t had the Hilton honors app I would’ve had to find an employee to let me into my room any time I left and came back (was traveling with dogs so that was often). The carpets in our room were dirty, still some trash in the shower from a previous guest, and food crumbs on the nightstand. I could tell they were understaffed and when I spoke to the office manager she was kind and understanding. BUT since I booked through a third party it would’ve been harder for her to give me a partial refund so I got points instead. The hotel seemed nice but I don’t usually stay at Hilton hotels so I think this experience turned me off of it.
