Sonesta ES Suites Omaha

Everything was good but pool looked in good condition but could not swim due to checmical levels.....bad experience for the kids

We loved our stay at Sonesta Suites! Each suite is very spacious! Nice living area, full kitchen, bedroom, large bathroom, plenty of storage for everything. We unpacked our suitcases as soon as we arrived! It was nice feeling like we were at home. The actual grounds for this complex need work--so much concrete and trash, but the rooms are very very nice and the family that operates the hotel is very accommodating and helpful. The location of Sonesta Suites is in the heart of Omaha--so convenient to everything! We stayed here for five days and enjoyed it immensely!

We didn’t stay at this hotel. The room was deplorable. Door latch was broken, looked like blood stains on the carpet, the room was not clean (ie: floors, tables, walls, baseboards) just didn’t look like it had been wiped clean in months. The vehicles in the parking lot were not the best. Some had their windows broken. Did not feel like a safe environment for my family. Especially when we are traveling with my 11 month old. Checked out after 10 minutes of getting the room. The hotel still charged me for the weekend when we didn’t even stay there. This hotel should be removed from your website.

When we walked in the smell of the room was terrible. We had to sleep with the windows open due to the smell of marijuana. It was unbearable. We had a small child with us as well. The air vents were very rusty as well.

My family and I had to find a place to stay and Sonesta was absolutely amazing. The accommodated with my needs when I had to extend my stay! We will return in the future.

We came in town for a concert, our dog sitter cancelled last minute, so we had 4 kids and 2 dogs with us. The apt type rooms allowed us all to stay in one room, have plenty of bedding for everyone to sleep, kitchen / dishes to eat our meals there and was conveniently located

It was a great location for our family. Plenty of space and a kitchen to make meals. It's in a good location too.

The good: The kids loved the outdoor pool. Their breakfast was really good. We stayed 3 mornings and each morning was different. The staff was really nice. The layout of the loft rooms work well! The not so good. Although our room looked clean initially there was a pretty strong urine odor and we are fairly certain that there were pet stains on the floor and couch which was quite unpleasant. Overall, if you're looking for an affordable place to stay Id recommend...maybe your room would be a little less used by pets.

Breakfast didn’t have many options for a family. Hide a bed had no linens inside the suite. Pool closed early. Front Desk staff seemed to care less.

The photos for this property are incredibly outdated and inaccurate. This might be one of the worst places in terms of cleanliness and upkeep that I’ve ever stayed. Staff is nice and doing the best they can. The rooms, however, are dirty. Not a fault of housekeeping - there are blood stains on carpet, permanent stains on all furniture, cracked tile, sinking toilet, etc. There are some updated features like cabinets and appliances but overall, this place needs serious updating. We unfortunately prepaid for our stay and were incredibly busy so couldn’t really move hotels or afford an entirely separate stay elsewhere. I’m normally not a picky person but I felt uncomfortable having our children there - went and bought blankets and towels to lay on furniture and floors. Exterior of property also in serious need of repair, paint, etc. Pool area is decent but no shade and only about 5 chairs. It rained while we were there and there was a leak in fireplace that echoed on the tin of fireplace and made it so no one could sleep - that only made everything else that much worse.
