Sonesta ES Suites Omaha

It was good for family trip because of big space, and including kitchen. But the bath tub was too much slippery to use.

I dont usually do reviews, but I want to try to help other people make an informed decision before booking here or maybe management can make necessary improvements. Place was relatively convenient for our trip to omaha for baseball tournament, but the units were not the cleanest and they had issues. The first unit we were in did not have hot water and the hvac made loud noises. Fortunately, they were able to move us to another unit, but the ice maker in that one did not work. They did provide ice at our request. The Fridge of that unit leaked water all over our food and some of it got soggy and had to be thrown away. the fridge door did not stay shut very well, so we had to triple check it before we left to make sure we didnt lose all our food. Both units we were assigned had large stains in the carpet. The pool was also shut down for a day or two during our stay due to failed city inspection. The continental breakfast had relatively few options so we did not find much value in that. The pool and basketball court and outdoor grilling space were fun for the kids so it served its purpose but not sure if it was worth it for the price.

Was very neat & clean. Staff was friendly. Was close to dining options and main road. Kind of trucky to get into and out of parking lot. Rooms were large enough for a whole family. Very comfortable beds.

Everything was good but pool looked in good condition but could not swim due to checmical levels.....bad experience for the kids

I arrived at the hotel with my young child at 12:30 in the morning after driving 11 hours to Omaha. I got the room key and was supposed to stay in room 113. The hotel room smelled like someone just cooked chicken vindaloo. The smell of spices was so strong that my kiddo said he couldn't stay there even after an 11 hour drive. We were in the room a total of 2 minutes. I went to the front desk and asked for a refund but was told that I had to pay for at least one night. I told them that a I wanted a full refund as we were there less than 5 minutes. I was promised a full refund but after checking my account they charged me $125 for a room that we didn't even stay in. I was left driving around Omaha with a young child trying to find a suitable place for us to sleep that night and paid the Sonata $125 for nothing. I assume the owners use room 113 as their personal breakroom and eat in it as it is right across from the office. The smell was so strong that it was obvious someone had recently eaten in the room. Also, between the time that I got to the hotel to check in and out which was about 15 minutes total. There were 3 different people who had come into the office because their room keys weren't working and they were looked out of their rooms. The manager was running back and forth from the office to the different rooms trying to get the doors unlocked. I didn't stay around to see how it worked out for the hotel guests but this place is sketchy. Beware!

The property did not match the pictures. The room smelt of stale smoke and had stains all over the carpet. The pullout couch where my kids were to sleep was also full of stains. The doors to the outside were falling apart also. We ended up leaving after 20 minutes and staying somewhere else.

We loved our stay at Sonesta Suites! Each suite is very spacious! Nice living area, full kitchen, bedroom, large bathroom, plenty of storage for everything. We unpacked our suitcases as soon as we arrived! It was nice feeling like we were at home. The actual grounds for this complex need work--so much concrete and trash, but the rooms are very very nice and the family that operates the hotel is very accommodating and helpful. The location of Sonesta Suites is in the heart of Omaha--so convenient to everything! We stayed here for five days and enjoyed it immensely!

We didn’t stay at this hotel. The room was deplorable. Door latch was broken, looked like blood stains on the carpet, the room was not clean (ie: floors, tables, walls, baseboards) just didn’t look like it had been wiped clean in months. The vehicles in the parking lot were not the best. Some had their windows broken. Did not feel like a safe environment for my family. Especially when we are traveling with my 11 month old. Checked out after 10 minutes of getting the room. The hotel still charged me for the weekend when we didn’t even stay there. This hotel should be removed from your website.

When we walked in the smell of the room was terrible. We had to sleep with the windows open due to the smell of marijuana. It was unbearable. We had a small child with us as well. The air vents were very rusty as well.

My family and I had to find a place to stay and Sonesta was absolutely amazing. The accommodated with my needs when I had to extend my stay! We will return in the future.
