Aloft Omaha Aksarben Village

This Aloft was very nice and we enjoyed our stay very much. The decor was fun and the room was clean. The kids loved the pool table, arcade games, board games, and giant Connect Four in the lobby. They also enjoyed the pool. We were able to bring our dog which was accommodating although the pet fee was a bit higher than other hotels we have stayed at. And it would have been nice to have breakfast included. But the free coffee was very good. The staff was friendly and the beds were very comfortable. Overall a great experience!

Stayed to be close to family. Would have preferred onsite gym and hot tub if staying for relaxation.

The staff at this property is outstanding. I've stayed here a couple of times this year for business and I've always enjoyed my stay EXCEPT for all of the families that show up on the weekend. The hotel does allow families to stay in the rooms, which are really very small, and certainly too small for more than two adults. This really isn't a hotel designed for children although people do bring their children to the hotel and frankly it really ruins things; adolescents taking over the gym, the small pool, the bar area where there is a pool table. Everything is fine until the families show up and start letting their kids run around the hotel yelling, slamming doors and basically acting like wild animals. I don't blame the hotel or the staff. Its' the parents I blame. Parents don't seem to understand that their children aren't charming to anyone but them. Please keep your kids quiet if you are going to stay at a property like this and teach them how to behave, or better still find a property designed for children.

It was very clean. The beds were comfortable. I just did t like the layout or design of the room. I prefer a door to the bathroom not a curtain. I don’t like the facet that from the bed you can see through a opening the shower. I wouldn’t want to stay there with any one but my family.
