Kimpton Cottonwood, an IHG Hotel

I booked a 4 night stay for the holiday and when there was a family medical emergency and we had to leave after two nights, they would not give any refund at all for the top nights of fri and sat.

Newly upgraded, kid friendly but still has an adult vibe. The DJ and music at the pool was a nice surprise!

Would highly recommend this hotel for couples or for families with older children...even a dog. Looking for a non-cookie-cutter hotel with great bar...this is your place

Our go to hotel for Omaha. The difference here that stands out from other hotel is certainly the staff. They make it a point to make your stay enjoyable. We have three kids, aged 5-10 and they didn’t make us feel like a nuisance. Our kids love staying here in the summer season as they can swim in the gorgeous heated outdoor pool. The restaurant and bars are excellent, and there are many conveniences that make staying here and paying a little more worth the money.

Absolutely loved our experience! We were travelling with our kids and the front desk staff- especially.. Olivia was fantastic. The front desk staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be! We had the most relaxing stay and our kids loved the pool so much! Can't wait to come back again!

Overall, the hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The luscious indoor plants in beautiful, varying planters was so unique and breathtaking, and went so well with the boutique-classic hotel style. I was very frustrated when I booked two rooms together both noted to have children in them for the same night, and at check in at 3pm on a Monday was told there was no way we could all be in conjoining rooms, let alone the same floors; this was a family trip and the original plan was to give the big kids their own room, but since that was not possible, parents had to sleep in separate rooms on separate floors and split the kids. I asked several times if we could even upgrade or change something but was told very coldly and unapologetically that there was nothing they could do. I asked if I’m the future if we stayed at the hotel again if I would just need to be clear when booking that we need rooms together, and the hostess informed me that they cannot ever guarantee two rooms will be close or oven on the same floor. Then, in my room on the 7th floor my bathroom sink was broken and wouldn’t drain, and I called about jt but no one ever came to look at it. So, if I ever come again and am alone, I may stay here again, probably just for the gorgeous pool and bar outside, but I won’t be bringing my kiddos back. For that $$$, I definitely would expect them to be more accommodating and friendly.

We all of four felt nice in the hotel Kimpton. Our kids had a lot of fun in the pool. We were little bit disappointed about restaurant service. It just took extremely long to get anything. We were waiting 15min for coffee and at dinner we got partial part of our order. They just forgot. Hmm. Otherwise great hotel for stop by.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. They maintained some historical details while completely updating everything. The pool area has very comfortable chaises and the pool itself it huge! My whole family enjoyed the pool area. The staff at check-in were also very informative about the neighborhood and provided a map of the many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. I would 100% stay there again.

Everything was wonderful and comfortable. They must have been doing work though, that wasn't mentioned cuz it sounded like baby elephants jumping on the ceiling @ 8 in the morn.
