Days Inn by Wyndham Grand Island I-80

rooms not updated since 1980. Maintenance banged away in the room above our bed beginning at 6 AM. On one day a dumpster next door window was picked up at 7 AM.. They put us next-door to a room with three screaming children. The continental breakfast was toast and water down juice. Absolutely the worst facility to try to get a quiet night sleep. This place should be closed.

The check-in process was fine, the person at the front desk was helpful, but our room, and the rest of the property, left a lot to be desired. There were queen headboards on the wall, but the beds were full-size. Honestly, full-size beds are only big enough for one person or two small people, not two grown adults. Additionally, the mattresses were awful. We're talking springs in my back and seriously worn out. I'm hoping my back will recover in the next couple of nights. Additionally, the curtains wouldn't close all the way, leaving plenty of light shining in from the parking lot and the sun bright and early the next day, a 1" gap under the entrance door, leaving yet more light to shine in from the hallway, and the air conditioner didn't seem to be working at all, as our room was humid and not nearly as cool as we had set it on the thermostat. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 9:30...check-out was 11:00 am. Lastly (and only mildly annoying), the cold/hot water lines were reversed at the bathroom sink (room 2117). I vowed to my family never to stay at another Quality Inn again. I feel bad leaving a terrible review, but others deserve to know what they're getting themselves into. I refuse to believe the hotel doesn't have the capital to make changes to their property that would increase the comfort level for their guests, but I guess they probably don't need help in that category as being located on the interstate means they get customers no matter how bad their property is.

Everything about the hotel was great. However. there were way too many people and kids running around without masks!!
