Best Western Plus Grand Island Inn & Suites

Was in town to volunteer at the Nebraska State Fair and the family came with. It was very close to the grounds and looks like a pretty new facility. Some of the other places are quite dated and this one stood out as being in better shape than the other options. Overall, it was worth the higher price. They seemed pretty strict about "no food or drink" in the pool area. We didn't test it, even though it's nice to have a drink in the hot tub, which they actually have. Seems to be less and less hotels that actually have a hot tub anymore. Anyway, we would stay again. Pretty good hot breakfast as well.

Our stay was ok, but it could have been better. Hotel was not full, but we were given a room next to a normal, noisy family. Breakfast was fine, but there were only six tables and all in use at 7:30. Don't know what they do when the place is really busy. (We were shown a meeting room with a large conference table so we wouldn't eat in the oversized lobby.) won't be back.

Clean rooms and bathrooms, nicest hotel we saw driving into town. The double queen with a sofa bed fit our family well, breakfast was just as expected. Good experience all around.
