Hampton Inn Grand Island

It was the worst room ive ever stayed in. The kids found lighters and beer bottle caps on and under the bed. Made a complaint to front desk and they said it would be forwarded on to Expedia. Haven't heard back yet

We have stayed here previously and like that it’s close to a main street, restaurants and shopping but still in quiet area. Hotel has suites which is necessary for family of five. Did not use pool or fitness center this time. Only issue was bathroom looking a bit dated. Tub is chipped and good see had some water damage issues that had tried to repair but don’t think are fixed judging by water on floor after shower. Some carpet being replaced in stairwell so maybe doing some updates. Breakfast was fine. French toast sticks, a egg biscuit and smoked sausage, plus usual waffles, cereal, toast and fresh fruit, etc. Signs posted stating you must request housekeeping before 8:30. Check in was pleasant. New person being trained but still efficient. I do think hotel was a little overpriced but at least I knew be comfortable.

I did not get the room I requested and when I asked for another room they tried to offer me a room that would not accommodate my family and I.
