Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Laurel, an IHG Hotel

We loved the staff! When we checked out,it was like leaving family behind! The bed was AWESOME!! It was hard for us to leave.

My stay started off pretty rocky. A few days prior to the trip i had called hotels.com to see ifni would be able to switch ky reservation. The women had to call the hotel and talk with them asking if they would charge me a fee if i changed my stay. She comes back to me to tell me what they said. I ultimately decided to keep my reservation as was. I asked the lady numerous times are you sure they didnt cancle my reservation. She assured me that everything was fine. I get to the hotel 8 oclock at night after driving all day and the women tells me ky reservation was cancled. After some time luckily the amazing receptionist fixed it but its not what you want to deal with after a long day on the road with children. The rest of my stay was ok thankfully.

Room was ok except coffeemaker didn't work, shower door was off and wouldn't close. Pool had issues everyone had red eyes and skin irritations. From what we were told by other people after swimming is that they had complained the night before (Friday) and we didn't swim until Saturday evening. After we complained they said they closed the pool. Lots of issues with the kids and their eyes I'm glad we didn't have to play softball on Sunday because several of the kids wouldn't have been able to play.

What I was on Expedia and cleaning wise it’s not good with family it’s not good hotel look like motel and very dirty and dirty towels

This is a low grade Holiday In n Express. The furnishings was outdated and the pool was a kiddie pool. It looked very cloudy which means dirty or not filtered very well. The daily price was 175.00 which is way over priced for the area. Small town. The pictures are deceiving online. I should have stayed at the Hampton INN but they are over priced too for the area. I will not be staying in Laurel, MS for that price in the future.

Nice hotel provided everything we needed for my family of 4 spending the night in Laurel visiting a friend. Great breakfast and I'm always happy when coffee is available at all times. Only minutes away from the historic downtown Laurel.

Room was nice and spacious. Only one elevator was working so a lot of people were taking the stairs. There is only ONE washer and dryer for the whole hotel. When we are traveling for baseball, you need these services and having only one of each meant we were up until 1am trying to take turns to use it. My other review is in regards to breakfast. One morning it was great, the next not so much. What kids eat egg white inlets with veggies?? No one and when you are playing ball you need protein. Adding scrambled eggs or do the cheese omelet every morning would be nice.

good bed; nice bath amenities; very good breakfast. Couldn't change TV channels, but short family visit and didn't spend that much time in room, so TV was little matter.

We arrived at 3pm and checked in. It appeared they were remodeling the hotel, mainly at the first floor elevator which was kinda awkward having to walk past the workers every time we left and came back in. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. At about 8am, we were both awakened by yelling kids running down the hall...not fun!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They served a wonderful free breakfast that has the others beat. Our family really appreciated that and the use of the conference room at a moments notice. VERY ACCOMMODATING.
