La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hattiesburg - I-59

The property is well maintained and kept. Very clean, nice breakfast and you can bring your fur baby to stay!! The staff was very friendly and helpful! This is our go to place when we are in Hattiesburg for sure!!!

The fire alarm went off all night and my children and I were unable to sleep well. No compensation was offered. If I wouldn’t have been exhausted from driving all day, I would have left.

The stay was okay. They didn’t have cartoons for kids. They kicked everyone out of the pool at 9 even though on the sign it says 11. We will be finding a more accommodating hotel to stay at next time.

Stephanie at the front desk was so sweet to us and our little fur baby. The housekeeping did such a great job with the room. Wish their market had more options along with breakfast but it was still a great stay!

my stay was pretty good, one i first got there my floor smelled like a baby’s diaper. however, housekeeping was cleaning so they ended up pulling the trash.

I also noticed a funky motor oil smell in the elevator as other reviews mentioned. The water in the toilet and coming out of the bathroom faucets was yellow and metallic smelling. If I hadn’t grown up going to my grandma’s house in the country which had rusty well water I probably wouldn’t have recognized what it was and been freaked out. The kids however, who never had the pleasure of experiencing rusty well water, had to be threatened with losing their electronics to get them to brush their teeth with it. But it was only one night so…meh. Not too bad. Everything else was fine and the ladies at check in were really nice.

I love this accommodation in Hattiesburg! Clean and fun:) great spot for the fur-baby. We habve a meow and wanted to away from bo wow and we were accommodated on 4th floor. Room were comfy and shower great. Thank you La Quinta!

Nice family and pet friendly property! Other than the bathroom vent fan not working and low shower water pressure, it was a pleasant stay. Off the beaten path so no traffic noise at night. Good breakfast. Would stay here again.

The room was very clean which is a very big deal to me. The breakfast was great, the variety of food is important with my kids. Every staff member that I interacted with were very helpful, kind and polite. I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in the area.

Charged double from Viking on Expedia. Hotel was filthy, the hallways needed vacuumed and the elevator was soooo sticky and dirty. Before 6am, guests above us woke us up literally stomping. Carried on for over 2 hours, even after requesting front desk to put an end to the nonsense. We were given the excuse they have children after being told they thought the compliant was from the night before. Distinct burnt smell in cooing area. Walls and floors paper thin. You’ll hear everything. Toilet paper rack fell apart in the middle of the night and woke us all up. Then drain was clogged with a ton of hair and was broken. They need repairs bad! And to enforce quiet hours. Overall, very disappointed and was offered a refund however that doesn’t help me with little to no sleep from the stompers.
