Hotel is beautiful. Very convenient being attached to the Mall of America. However, could not enjoy any of the hotel amenities as there were two large guest groups staying and they overtook everything. Large groups of children throwing sports equipment around throughout all of the common areas, lounges, lobbies etc. Our room was on the 12th floor and it was incredibly noisy every evening throughout the overnight each night of our 3 night stay. As beautiful as the hotel is, I will definitely find somewhere different to stay the next time we are in the area.

The room was clean. Would have preferred a paper TV guide as to what the channels were. The bad part was you could hear the doors slamming from other rooms and people talking load. And kids running in the hallway. We loved that it was connected to the Mall Of America.

Loved staying at this hotel. Conveniently attached to the Mall of America which allowed us to stop at our room for small breaks throughout the day. The pool was great for the kids. Most of the vending machine sodas were sold out on multiple floors but that was not a huge issue. Room clean, staff was nice. Bonus was the free shuttle to/from airport

The hotel in the parking ramp was not functional, and there was no signage reflecting that. So having young children with me trying to navigate where to go to get to the hotel was very frustrating.

Our stay here was great except for one thing, when we went to the pool my kids used swim vests and once they got out they of course were dripping water when we were getting out of the door one of the staff see us and she asked me in a kind of shameful tone " ma'am ma'am you don't have plastic for the vest? I said no I don't have plastic (she was referring to plastics bags) she then said no ma'am this not good this is very bad for the carpet you don't have plastic, so I asked her if she had some plastic bags I could have and she made a annoyed face and said yes wait here, we waited she bring them and looked she was mad at me, I totally understand the carpet getting wet I'm just mad at the way she talked to me

As a full-time single mom who is also a full-time student, I don’t get to do fun things like this with my almost 2-year-old that often. We we’re looking forward to two things: the mall (more for me) and swimming (for her) because she absolutely loves the pool! Unfortunately, once we arrived, we found out the pool was under maintenance and was not working at all which was kind of a bummer when that was one of the main reasons we went there. Also, google chromecast wasn’t working on the tv, so that was a little tough because there wasn’t anything on for the kid to watch & renting a movie was $20. Finally, We were sleeping and at eight in the morning, housekeeping knocked on the door and before I could even stand up, they were walking in and check out isn’t until noon. I’ve never had that at a hotel before that I’ve purchased for a night. I even called down to the front desk to verify and I let them know and they were like oh yeah it’s noon, there was no apology or nothing. The bathroom and parts of the room could use some more cleaning as you could see built up dust around the ledges and toilet paper holder but otherwise, the room is an average room but has some cool artwork. But the hotel was absolutely beautiful, beautiful artwork and decor, the restaurant was delicious and it was so nice to be connected to the mall.

The hotel makes a great first impression and that holds up all the way through. The valet parking is top flight. Fast, pleasant and customer-first with the texted link to chat or order the car. My coat was forgotten in the rush to get my niece and little kids into the hotel, and when I chatted to ask if it could be dropped at the front desk was shocked to hear a knock on our 8th floor room just minutes later. We walked to the connected MOA, had dinner, and walked back easily with attached ramps for stroller access. The key-access elevator is an extra level of security from the mass mall traffic, which was a concern to my niece. They had a 5 am appointment for TSA pre-check at the airport and it was a breeze to run down, say Hi to the friendly security officer in the lobby, get a cart, load up, meet the valet with a warmed up car, and get there in 7 minutes.

This is a very beautiful hotel and it has a better pool than the JW Marriott which was important for us. It's also closer to the Lego store and Nickelodeon Universe which is literally right in front of it inside mall. It also has a free shuttle from airport they I didn't know about and so I found out after I had checked in. I was able to get the free shuttle and save the $24 taxi ride back to the airport. There was some mix up with our room initially and that kinda caused confusion because we had to wait 25 minutes in the hall of the 5th floor for the problem to be corrected but they gave us complimentary breakfast passes in their restaurant for the troubles. I do think it would be very helpful to have a sign indicating were the bathroom is for guests when you arrive because it's not in lobby. You must take escalator upstairs to second floor and then go inside the restaurant and ask for directions for the bathroom. That is silly and unnecessary and so I thought that was kinda dumb in a big hotel like this. There are many new employees and it seems like I must have asked every new one on my trip information or directions and nowadays they just say..sorry, I don't know. That is new because 10 years ago they would excuse themselves to find out the directions to the bathroom or ask a manager. That was disappointing. Our mini trip to Mall of America was fun verses the last x we came and went to the other hotel, JW Marriott, I would say that this hotel is more family friendly.
