With one exception (Pierre), the staff were unfriendly, unwelcoming, rude, and just thoroughly unprofessional. We didn’t get a room until 4:30 pm. Got into our room, got settled, and we’re in bed when our door opened and another family came in. The hotel had given our room to another family. The carpets are massively stained, no one responds to any of the buzzers, etc. We are an easy going family, we can look past a lot, but the staff’s disregard and lack of any apparent interest in their guests’ existence was very off-putting. It was double-middle fingers to everyone. Now we are at the Fairfield Inn in Vadnais Hts. 180 experience. Early check-in, friendly, professional, super clean. I wouldn’t recommend the Park Plaza to anyone.

First room the ac couldn’t drop the temp a single degree even though it ran for 4 hours while we shopped and ate then ran all night. 76 degrees isn’t unlivable but when you are on vacation you want to be comfortable. The noise of the ac along with the Worst beds I’ve ever slept on, literally were 6 inches with no box springs and only 18” off the floor, my poor kids had a pull out that you could literally see sag between the steel bars. After a sleepless night we asked for a new room that was way better but the first night made it a terrible experience. Was offered a comped nights stay but was still charged full price and conveniently the staff could print my charges and never delivered an itemized receipt.

Tristan is always really awesome and makes up for any disappointment. I waited over an hour for my airport shuttle with a 5 year old child. Not cool. The hotel room floors need a deep clean - feel like I’m walking on people’s past lives but I like the spaciousness.

Our room was spacious for our family of four. We had the one bedroom suite and it was really nice having a separate room with a door from our kids. We were visiting mall of America and the location was perfect! We never had to take our car. It was just a walk across the street to the mall! Breakfast in the hotel was convenient and the food was good- pretty standard hotel breakfast. The hotel seemed clean and the pool and hot tubs were nice and spacious. Our room was quiet except for the noise of airplanes as it is close to the airport. We had a sound machine and couldn’t hear anything while we were sleeping. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to visit mall of America or to be close to the airport.

We stayed four nights with three children. The location to the Mall was fantastic - only about a 5 minute walk. There is some outside walking, but minimal. It was nice to have the two restaurants attached (IHOP & TGIFridays). We only went to IHOP and it was fine. It is in a safe area and was quiet for the most part (it's close to the airport, so you can often hear planes coming in). The pool area is large and can accommodate many, but it was very crowded most of the time. The one night we visited, the water was clean, there were plenty of towels and everyone was behaved. There is a nice outside area to sit across from the pool off of the breezeway. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are a little hard, but nothing too bad. NOTE: This property is attached by a 1st floor breezeway to the County Inn & Suites. There is only one front desk for both hotels. You must check in inside the Country Inn & Suites building, even if you are staying at Park Plaza. There is a door labled "Park Plaza" on the back building, but you will have to get buzzed in if you do not have key & you will have to walk to the front. The breakfast was fine, and there is a good selection of last-minute items & snacks up front. The front desk team is PHENOMENAL. Our family travels quite a bit and I don't believe we have every experienced a front desk as accommodating and kind as at this hotel. Anytime we had a need or question, they were very quick to help and always in a very pleasant demeanor.

This was a great location. Room was perfect size for our family of three. I loved the housekeeping we had the first few days. She advised us of ways to take advantage of getting tickets at the hotel for area attractions to save money and was super kind. Front desk staff in the am was wonderful. On to the not so great. I am so hjappy we brought a small fan. Our room averaged ebtween 70-74 degrees almost the entire time we where there. We complained a few times. they did send someone up to look at it who advised it was fixed. We came back 3 hours later and the room was still in 72. We called down to the front desk and they said to give it time that theAC turns off when you arent in the room. Even after that we mnetioned it and we were never offered another room. We normally keep our house under 67 degrees since my toddler gets rashes due to s kin condition if she gets to sweaty. We where also in our room on the 3rd day of our stay and housekeeping walked right in while we where laying down with our daughter which woke her up a hour early from her nap. This was around 3pm in the afternoon. There was no announcement or knock before she came it. Due to those two things i rated it lower. If the ac and privacy wasnt an issue i would have rated it the highest rating.

We frequently stay at other Country Inn & Suites. This particular hotel was disappointing. Instead of a nice quiet stay, there were kids running and yelling, moms yelling, pizza boxes and towels tossed around the hall and so on til after 10 pm. Do they open the pool to the neighborhood? The breakfast area was the same yelling and commotion. The room itself was clean and you can walk to the mall.
