There was litter in the parking lot when we pulled in. Just the general vibe was uncomfortable outside. We were there on Mother’s Day and many restaurants were closed. We had to ask twice to be moved because the first room smelled like an ashtray. The gentleman host apologized and wondered aloud why it was “in rotation” since the previous guests had been fined for cigar use. Once in our new room, there was a family of animals above us. We called the room directly, telling them it sounded like they were going to come thru the ceiling. It did not stop. We then called the front desk, with no answer. He did call back and made the family of animals move across the hall. Would not recommend.

We had a family funeral to attend with a number of family members at the hotel. The Tru Staff was amazing and very helpful. The location was perfect. We needed a pet friendly place. I will not be staying at a Tru hotel again for the following reasons. 1. No cups, microwave, or coffee maker in the room. Many family members had to make multiple trips to the lobby to get coffee/tea while getting ready for the funeral. It was very disruptive. While there was an acceptable breakfast, I have food allergies and usually bring my own breakfast. I could not make it in the room. 2. With three people in our room, we did not have enough counter space to put our things. I will NOT put my luggage under the bed. If there are bugs, I try to keep my things up off of the floor. We are tall, thin people. We did not have enough room to walk around. We were constantly having to wait to go around one another while getting ready. 3. The desk and chair were horrible. There were no rollers on the chair. The confined space made it difficult to move the chair. The desk had to be moved to be used properly. WHERE were we to move it? There is no space. 4. The bathroom floor corners were dirty. Each corner had a build-up of dirt that happens when the person mopping doesn't clean the corners. 5. My 86 year old mother could not squeeze the soap dispensers. The shower soap dispenser was empty. There was no fan in the bathroom. 6.I have more issues, but an out of room in this box.

The service was friendly. But the whole situation was unsafe especially when we see people with many drinks on the lobby and 3 to 4 cars police going to the rooms for problems. You can hear people and kids jumping and running. swimming pool was not comfortable to be there.

Rooms are basic and kind of sterile. No character at all. Don’t expect cups or a coffee pot because they don’t supply them. Front staff at check in was more interested in being outside on her phone and smoking more than than checking us in. Rest of staff must be new too as they looked like they were trying to figure out how to check us out on the day we left. AC in room was set to 60 degrees so it was freezing the night we got there. No extra blankets were available either. Some random woman in a leopard print unitard kept banging on our door late at night as well even as we kept telling her she had the wrong room. Told our kids in the room next to us NOT to open the door if someone knocked. Overall… this place was strange and we most likely won’t stay at a Tru Hilton again.

Too many kids running up the halls at 1 or 2 am. Called the front desk and no one answered. At 2 am next door room decided to get into a screaming match. Again no answer at the front desk.

Open reception desk area was nice. Front of business under construction, difficult to locate driveway from road. Too many noisy children running from indoor pool through hallways until late evening. Rooms not spacious and televisions too large for mounting at foot of the beds. Long wait upon arriving to register. Only one clerk for multiple arriving guests.

My stay was cool front desk was kind and when I needed something they did provide it . The room was kinda small and the beds are not that comfortable but over all we had a good stay and the kids loved the pool . The pool was a bit small compared to others but they still had a good time , they could have eased up in the salt in water tho

Our stay was very peaceful and enjoyable. We were attending the wedding of dear friends and every comfort was seen to! Loved our time and were saddened to cut it short due to death in the family.
