We rented the room based on the fact it said family friendly hotel. 1 hour after checking in we were told we have to keep our 2-year-old autistic son contained or we would have to leave. The room we rented was also very lightly cleaned the floors were disgusting and everything on child level you could tell is not wiped down. Also every time we entered and exited the hotel there was people smoking cigarettes right outside the door when we mentioned it to the employees several times they did absolutely nothing about it. The property was labeled as a smoke-free property and family-friendly we did not feel that at all.

Hotel and staff are great. But the Black Friday weekend for the past few years brings out kids hockey weekend in Detroit area so the noise level was a bit high. Staff did as good as possible to try and reign in the crowd.

Conveniently located just down the block from the volleyball facility used by Michigan Elite Volleyball club. The room was a 1 bedroom suit. The fold out couch is pretty small. We ask for a roll away for 1 of the kids. The arrangement worked well. The only access to the bathroom is through the bedroom.
