Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ann Arbor West, an IHG Hotel

I loved staying here close to family. Everything we needed was also close, Meijers and lots of restaurants

Recently visited for a few nights, the staff who helped with the food and housekeeping were more pleasant than the one front desk individual. (I don’t normally complain about stuff like that). There were mice outside the hotel, people and children were stomping around and screaming, and I saw several bugs (mosquitoes and a stink bug) in the room.

Second time we’ve come here as a family and will continue to come back . We love how clean , friendly all staff is and especially every time we’ve came the pool / hot tub is empty or very very few people , we have two young kids so it’s nice having that .

Rooms were nice & clean, however walls seem thin . At about 1am could hear people & kids talking & kids running down hallways. Other than that good.

Great place will be back family had a great time

It served our needs. Very nice place. My family has stayed here more than once- always satisfied!

Here is my honest review: We had travelled from out of state that day to visit family and didn’t arrive to check in until after 830pm. We have two children under 3 and we were exhausted. We were able to check in smoothly and but when we got up to the room the minute we opened the door the entire room smelled of human feces, as though someone had just used the bathroom minutes before we walked in. We didn’t want to make a big deal out of it and figured the smell would subside within a few minutes. We got our kids settled, bags unpacked and pack n play set up and my husband flushed the toilet and it was leaking out the bottom. We immediately had to pack everything up and move rooms. There is no way the person cleaning this room wouldn’t have noticed the awful stench, so I am very frustrated we were put in that room in the first place. Had it just been two adults it would be different but traveling with young kids and having to move rooms is an extremely huge inconvenience. Please be more aware of what may not be functioning in your rooms, especially when it comes to sanitary matters before putting people in there. I would rate this experience 1/5 stars.

Quick stop on way home from family visit

Overall, a great location for a family getaway. Friendly, fast check-in; clean room & bathroom; great free breakfast! Only recommendations are: only had one regular k-cup coffee so with no maid service between 2 night stay; should stock more. We did get more at the front desk. Also, keep a check on the TV remote as our room had parts missing.
