I was a great trip and stay at the casino. The family truly enjoyed our experience.

My robe was not i my room and when i called to request it i couldn't even wear it, it was like a kid size shrink and tight smh

The best thing about this place was the staff. They were very hospitable. The low rating is because you get maid service every 3 days and on top of that, the carpet wasn’t very clean to begin with. Also, for a casino, there weren’t great dining options. They have a food court, which is fine for kids, but no elegant restaurants. In the casino, the VIP gamblers had a nice dinner option but they were standing in line for dinner. Not quite a VIP experience. There’s a music venue right next to the hotel and I expected there to be some shows throughout the week as part of the experience. It is the birthplace of Motown. They just missed the mark. There’s nothing to keep you on the property other than the casino. It’s not really in a walkable area so we had to drive everyday. Unless they get better dining options and entertainment, I wouldn’t stay there again. It was kind of boring.

We had a quick getaway without kids. We enjoyed the spa. We dont love to gamble so not important. The room had stains in rugs, a bit dusty, and robe hanging in bathroom had holes in it. Dont recommend the room service as we got oatmeal that was dry and had to be made. Otherwise we were comfortable & enjoyed a relaxing night.

Room was not very clean. Signage around the inside of the hotel was terrible. For a casino the good options were very limited and buffet is expensive for a family.

Don’t recommend for families

I was very upset with your system. I had a death in the family and was unable to go. I attempted to cancel as I was told I could do when I reserved the room. I attempted to talk to an actual person and that was impossible. So I was charged full price for a room that I honestly tried to cancel per my end of the deal. Never will I use this app again.

We stayed at the Motor City Casino because we thought it was going to be a fun, clean, exciting experience. We were wrong! The room was dingy, the view of the parking lot was horrible. Nothing to order from room service, except drinks and fried food. Spa and hot tub closed at 6pm. Bars closed early. No entertainment. House keeping knocked on out door all morning to get us to leave. We are gold hotel.com members and the hotel did nothing special for us, not even a room with a view. There were no bathrobes and only one pair of slippers. I would never go back and I would never recommend this hotel. Not even to my worse enemy. Completely overpriced for an outdated, dirty, worn out room. I think they believe they are a 4 star hotel, but it felt like a 1 star hotel to us. We are so upset we wasted a kid free night staying in this crappy, overpriced, boring, ugly, place. Never Again!!!!
