The thing that really turned me off from this stay was the surprise vallet fee of $49 per night per car. This was totally unexpected and not mentioned anywhere on the site or in my emails. It was especially disliked by my family as this was the first time my wife and I needed to drive separately, so was hit by that unexpected fee twice. There is nowhere to park at this hotel without paying the valet fee, it is unavoidable. Furthermore, even though the fee(s) has come out of my checking account, there are duplicate fees pending still today. Tomorrow will be an entire week since my stay, yet still pending charges for a service you already collected payment for? No thanks! The hotel was great, the staff very nice and helpful. But all these hidden, undisclosed fees? I will go elsewhere next time

We booked a room for 4….a junior suite. The pullout couch had only a thin cover over metal coil springs. We asked for a topper which they didn’t bring and after 45mins we asked again. A cover equivalent to a sheet was delivered. My husband and son slept on the floor. The toilet ran very loudly on and off all night. The tv was broken. When I complained, the front desk woman was very rude and condescending. The manager was kind and polite and comped a breakfast which was equally disappointment.

Great hotel stay! We could not ask for a better location to Ford Field, I think 3 blocks. You can see the stadium from the front of the hotel. Every employee that we came in contact with was pleasant and helpful from the valet, front desk, to the breakfast attendant in the dining area. Our room the junior king suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. This is a nice hotel stay in a great location, we will definitely be back! If you are planning to go to a Detroit Lions game this is the way to go. You just need to make sure you are staying the night of the game, too for the parking. We parked Saturday when we arrived and grabbed our car upon checkout on Monday morning.

A bed for two is furnished with one real pillow and two baby ones. Two tiny towels in the bathroom. Less storage space than any room I’ve ever stayed in. For nearly $400/night I couldn’t imagine getting less from a room than I got from this one. Staff was pleasant though.

Poor management. The hotel only had one employee working the check in process at 4pm on a Saturday when everyone was trying to check in. Valet parking was an unorganized mess. We stopped to eat breakfast in the morning and we were told we would charged an additional fee for the buffet. Then we were told no we wouldn’t be charge the fee. The. We were charged a fee because the representative had us mixed up with another family.

It was family trip. We booked at the last minute. The hotel was easy to locate. The check-in was quick and easy. The front desk personnel and all staff were extremely friendly.

The bed was great - the sofa bed was terrible. Valet is $45/night and the pet fee was $75, so this felt excessively expensive given how uncomfortable half our family was. While check in and check out were quick and easy, we called the front desk to ask them to pull up our car from the valet and when we went downstairs, no one had told the valet anything. Next time I'l look for a more affordable option that better meets our needs for the price in downtown.

Room was definitely dusty and loud! Could hear traffic on road all night long. No restaurants were open due to supply issues. Bed was uncomfortable. Definitely not family friendly as elevator constantly smelled like weed.
