Always a comfortable stay at the Westin and glad that it is pet-friendly. Area has lots of restaurants. Different, eclectic feel compared to Old Port which is more family friendly.

We enjoyed the room but the Top of the East was our destination for our 40th birthday- it was TERRIBLE. The service was very very slow- and though we had reservations it took 45 before we were served our first drink. We were going to a show and waited forever for sun-par food served very disjointed( there were 6 of us) two at a time with long periods in between we had apps. Not sure why everything took so long. It was honestly the worst service I have ever had and considering the prices of everything, it seems like it’s robbery. The views were beautiful at least but my friend was disappointed that she chose your establishment to celebrate her birthday. How unfortunate that they paid top dollar for a babysitter to spend too much money and miss the beginning of a show with having 5:30 reservations. I remember when the Top of the East was fun, beautiful and the place to enjoy good food, service and friends

The property was newer and clean. Was hoping the suite had more of a kitchenette-very small fridge-to make it more family friendly. We tried to check in early and the woman that helped us was very unaccommodating and didn’t even try to see if it possible. For the price point, would’ve love more amenities like breakfast, laundry or indoor pool like the residence inn down the street. Not very walkable to main restaurants in old port.

The sofa mattress had holes and was stained, big stain in the middle. Filthy! There was no bedsheets available to make the bed, despite the fact that I called the hotel the day before and made clear we were traveling with 2 small kids. The sink was clogged.Staff at the reception was not properly trained for the job and didn’t offer adequate solution to the issue. We had no other options than leave. I hope they didn’t charge my card. What an insult! This was our Easter vacation.
