My family stayed here in August 2024. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of the waterfront with ocean activities and several restaurants. If we head to Maine again, we will definitely stay here.

Lovely hotel and facilities. Double beds are small. Would be nice to have Queen beds as we were a family of four sharing one room. Would also like a microwave in the room. They also only provided 3 towels. Apart from that, everything was great. Two double beds would be perfect for two single people sharing a room.

Amazing service. Ben was so helpful and kind. Our massages were heavenly. Heidi is a massage pro. The bar off the great room is intimate and the bartender goes above and beyond to make her guests feel like family. 10/10

My family and I had the most fantastic weekend with breakfast at the restaurant and a great whiskey taste before a concert at the State Theater along with a great walk through Old Port.

Old property that needs a refresh. Very thin walls, we could hear everything our neighbors were saying. Unfortunately they got up at 6 AM and had their kids screaming/throwing balls at the adjoining wall which ruined our rest. We were able to move rooms, next room had no people nearby which was better. No coffee/water available in the lobby which just seems weird. Overall, we won’t stay again.

Wonderful place to stay. Our room was very large and the tub was a bonus at the end of the night. The spa room is awesome and quiet - we didn't have any kids running around, like you would in a pool area. I only wish the spa were open later.

Used the Portland Regency Hotel as an extended weekend destination for family from Bangor and my husband and myself from Missouri. The location was prime and the Maine foliage was a bonus.
