NOPSI Hotel, New Orleans

One of the elevators was not working which was quite inconvenient at a busy hotel. My children were not able to swim in the roof top pool due to a photo shoot.

We’re visiting family in the area and staying with them but booked Nopsi for one night to enjoy the pool with family. Nobody informed us the pool was under construction when we booked OR when we checked in until the bellboy took us to our room and casually mentioned it. We left immediately and stayed at another hotel with a pool. Very disappointed as we’ve stayed at Nopsi before and loved it but they should have told us before we got to our room that the pool and rooftop were under construction and unavailable!

Great spot but pool was closed on memorial weekend and we had kids. They did provide another pool but it was $50 a person.

Having staff that represents your company in a good light l, goes above and beyond for patrons will make any regular hotel feel like a castle. The staff at Nopsi did just that for me. This morning during checkout I had the pleasure of dealing with a very kind lady who was able to assist me I wish I remembered her name. Then a gentleman in its truest form(Hassan) helped me carry my bags to the car it was a lot and I was tugging a baby on my hip at 4:25am. It’s dark outside I was parked a block away from hotel. He didn’t know me from a can of paint but yet made me feel safe and protected. This experience alone made the stay worth every single penny. I will say if you were sold on the roof top bar it’s currently closed. The bar downstairs however have the best Wellington you’ll ever taste.

Best experience with customer service. Felt like family. Our room was clean and luxurious. Mattresses were comfortable and hard to leave from. The treadmills in the gym were out of service but ventured a jog outside instead. Very happy to stay here

The pool was super super overcrowded with kids and large groups of people. Def didn’t feel like the pictures. Close to bourbon street etc. would choose a diff hotel next time for the price.

I enjoyed my Stay at NOPSI, I would definitely recommend staying here. The location is great. Just blocks away from Bourbon street. Blocks away from the French Quarter. It’s a very central location. The pool however. Is VERY VERY SMALL!! It can get crowded with just 10-12 people. With the entire hotel having the same idea to cool off in the water there was absolutely no space to do. One day a family of kids came in running and splashing and having a great time but unfortunately they ran all the adults away who were hoping for a relaxing time at the pool. Maybe they could consider expanding their pool someway somehow

Staff was incredibly friendly. Especially front desk and lobby staff. Kevin greats you at the door like you are family!

Besides this recent stay we stayed at the NOPSI over a year ago. While checking out from our last trip we enformed the staff that the dressers in all the rooms needs a anti-tipping device installed so they won't fall onto a guest (espesially a child) when the drawers are opened. This issue has not been addressed and due to the fact that the dressers are very shallow it is very likely to injure someone.

I stay here with my family for 4 Nights EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING. Beautiful, Clean, Great Atmosphere, Close To Everything. Manny That Works In The Restaurant Is One Of The Greatest. Look No Further JUST BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!
