We loved the location of the hotel. Staff were very nice and the free drink tickets to their bars was a nice treat. we would definitely stay here again if back in New Orleans. We will be recommending the hotel to family and friends.

Loved this hotel. It was what you expect to see in a Nola Hotel for a great price. We are a family of 4 going to visit LSU, so we were only there for a night. Very centrally located but just off Bourbon Street so it was not as noisy. Beautiful courtyard - I only wish it was warmer so we could fully enjoy it.

Very nice hotel. Not much of a lobby, nice central courtyard. Only serves brunch and not on Monday or Tuesday, there are other food options around that are very good, I would suggest Oceania one block away. The room was great, bed great, shower was awesome no shortage of hot water or volume. The AC/heat quiet. They must use a water softener as the water in LA is typically hard, not here! 1/2 a block off Bourbon Street, which gives a nice buffer. There is a bit of a homeless issue, but they are not aggressively asking for money, nearly every place pressure cleans every morning. I was visiting for business, I would recommend this place, and I would not have an issue staying with my family. If you use Uber or Lyft, they can drop off, but can not pickup in the French Quarter, had to walk two blocks, no big deal unless it’s raining.

Wonderful family reunion...perfect location...very friendly staff and so helpful when some family became ill. Would recommend for anyone wanting to stay in an historic hotel right in the middle of it all, but quiet and private too. The courtyards were a huge plus! Our favorite gathering spaces when we wanted just a quiet get together or meet up.

As I sit here on my 4th night in my room, I'm barely able to hear the tv over all the loud noise in the courtyard. Every night until 11 pm people talk loudly, yell, drink, and there are kids running around. Staff ignores it all. I chose this hotel thinking the courtyard would make for a quiet space. Um, wrong! Sound travels right up to the rooms. It's beyond ridiculous. Having a window room on Bourbon would be less noisy than these courtyard rooms. I have zero idea where all the positive reviews come from, seriously. Even with ear plugs, you won't be sleeping here. Oh, yeah, and before 7 am, staff will start dragging metal chairs around. It's an absolute circus every night we've been here. I've stayed at numerous hotels in and around the Quarter. This, by far, is the loudest hotel I've ever experienced. Do yourself a favor (if you value sleep) and stay somewhere else, literally anywhere else.
