Omni Royal Orleans Hotel

Chair in room was falling apart. The pool stair is extremely dangerous. My friend slipped on the guest step and had a severe bruise that affected her for a week. She had to get a ct scan when she got home. Another person came up to her and said that she also slipped on the first step. Why is the first step marble?? Is not a big step and lot of children in that area.

the location was great for everything. just far enough away from bourbon street, canal street and decatur to walk easily. loved pool bar staff Victoria and Denise. Friendly and informative about the area. will bring family back and stay here

Not worth the price in the least. Positives: the rooftop pool, rooftop bar (and their healthy pours), the Rib Room breakfast, and location Negatives: just about everything else. Beds were not comfortable. Getting in and out of the hotel was a pain. The noise level on the 2nd floor was insane... Might be better if higher up but doubtful. Not ideal for family with young kids. Minimal amenities. Small space in room. Way too much money for a very mediocre stay. It would have been acceptable if we were paying Holiday Inn prices or similar. We would not stay here again.

We had an amazing time in New Orleans celebrating our 20th anniversary. The Omni hotel was so beautiful! The staff were so nice, made us feel so comfortable. The Bellmen were absolutely amazing with helping us out with our bags. Friendliest people I’ve ever met. We are definitely returning back to this hotel and will be recommending it to friends and family.

Great centralized location. A few minutes to Jackson Square and some of the most popular locations in NOLA. We stayed here with our children and they had a great time at the rooftop pool. They are working on the bar on the rooftop so this would have been great if it had been open. Staff was so friendly and nice! Would highly recommend the balcony room as we loved looking out at the street (quiet street) and listening to the music from around the other busier streets.

I always enjoy my stays at the Royal Orleans—clean, lovely and great staff who allowed me this visit to stay in the same room although I had made two different sequential reservations for different level rooms. For their kindness, I gifted them a box of Aunt Sally’s Pralines from our family’s business—the reason I was in town.

Took family to NOLA for spring break - 2 adults, 4 young kids. Omni Royal called the night before and shuffled our room arrangements to put all 6 of us in adjoining rooms - SO accommodating and made it all perfect. The Omni Royal was the best “home base” we could’ve asked for to walk the French Quarter and explore. The hotel is central to most spots, parking onsite (rare!) and is very clean & quiet (other than city sounds that are unavoidable). Even the pool & observation deck were really cool features. Finally but not least, the Omni Staff was amazing - friendly and helpful, went out of their way to help, beyond the call of duty - our kids kept looking for one bellman in particular who was so cool & helpful. Just a great place to go with or without family - thank you Omni Royal so much for making our family trip a great & memorable one.

My family and I stay here several times a year. I always love my stay. The location is perfect. My children really enjoy the rooftop pool. This time the service was surprising not great. At check-in we requested a rollout bed and that request was denied. We even asked for it to be charged to the room and still the answer was no. Before check-out we requested at late check out and that request was also denied. My family and I drove 5 hours to stay here, paid the premium “Mother’s Day Weekend” prices and felt like we got the short end of the stick. And to make matters worse, the bellman hurried my kids out of the room yelling at them. Then confronted me about a tip.... I don’t understand what happen this trip? Usually no complaints, but this time it really was disappointing.

Friendly staff. GREAT location. The bed was soft and so were The pillows. I was worried they'd be too soft, but I slept like a baby! It was such a great stay! Will be back!

Wonderful place. Quiet. Perfectly located. The best in the Quarter. Convenient to everything and safe for families, couples, pets, and events.
