Excellent location! Although just a block from Bourbon street surprisingly quiet. The staff is very friendly, give us helpful information. We arrived quite early but they let us to check in. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. And will stay there again! Svetla and Richard Hanrahan

This is a great location just off Bourbon Street. Considering how close you are it's surprisingly quiet in the hotel room. This is walking distance to tons of great restaurants. The hotel staff greeted us every time we came and went. I would most definitely recommend this to friends and family.

A kind and helpful family(staff) is there to greet. Historical setting near the mayhem.Updated bathrooms along with other modern touches made the spacious room very comfortable.

The location is great and the hotel itself was a beautiful old building. The bathrooms have been updated and have a pretty cool non skid tile floor with granite counters and glass shower stalls. Very nice. The staff was wonderful - friendly and very accommodating. The sleeping portion of the room is a bit dated but still very nice. Beds were comfortable and linens nice and clean. I will definitely stay here again!

I would recommend this hotel if you are traveling without children and want to explore the late night scene in the French quarter. It’s clean and comfortable. We, however, were traveling with children. The rooms are quite small, as are the bathrooms, and there are random sounds throughout the night- people talking/yelling/laughing outside, cops coming by, people coming and going, etc. In the morning, as we were prepared to check out, our 2 year old was crying, and a man screamed out of his hotel door for him to shut up, several times. He sounded drunk and volatile and we felt unsafe. Obviously this is not the fault of the hotel and they apologized when we reported it, but again, it’s just maybe not the place for families. Just something to consider…
