We ejoyed the hotel very well, it served our family vacation well. And we would stay there again.

Great hotel close me & my family had a great stay

Checking in was okay. Went to the room it had a foul odor and I couldn’t breathe. Trying to keep it family friendly use your Imagination yeah? I went back to the front desk and asked for another room they gave me another room on the second floor which was fine with me this hotel Federal City Inn and suites did not have elevators. We moved all our thing from the first floor to the second floor. House keeping was a nightmare I had to beg them to change my bed and beg for clean towels and toilet paper. I let the front desk know about the keys not working and not receiving clean towels and the bed being cleaned. I will not never ever never ever never ever stay at the Federal City Inn and suites. The lady working the front desk was going to pass my complaint to the General Manager I have yet to hear from anyone. That’s a lot of money I spent for the service from hell I received.

Lobby was clean and welcoming but empty. We were not greeted for over thirty minutes. No one was at the front desk. No one answered the phone. When someone finally arrived, he was a young college student, very pleasant and friendly. We checked in to two adjoining family rooms which were very nice. Bathrooms were dated but somewhat clean. All in all, it was a comfortable stay for a night.

Although the location was very inexpensive. You get what you pay for. If you do not care much for luxury, this can be a bearable stay. The location had great staff and check in was smooth. The room was clean but it was just damages and unkept maintenance that were too uncomfortable for my comfort. There were some nice appliances added, but the location is either really old/damaged or poorly repaired for natural disasters. Lastly there was an Oder that does not go away. It is not best for children, however they were very nice.

Staff was great. Very friendly anytime we spoke to them and very helpful and understanding when we had to check out early due to a family emergency. The room itself did not live up to the staff. We had to always have the A/C on and set to dry because otherwise, there was a terrible smell, most likely mildew or something due to the humidity in the area. Tub had been resurfaced in the very distant past and it was chipping/peeling. Some of the shower tiles and the vent fan were broken. We had to wash every dish before we used them because they were coated in grease. Pillows were very flat and there was exactly 1 per person with no extras available when we asked.

I have stayed at this hotel before but I have never had such a horrible experience until this stay. When arriving at the hotel there was no one at the desk after standing there for few minutes, I realized someone was in the back office even after acknowledging me the person still did not make there way to the front to check me in. Then during the first night a group of kids were running up and down the hallway knocking on room doors at 3am and yelling down the hall. On the final night, someone had music blasting so loud that security was called and the person was yelling talking to them, this was after 1am. If it was not for the fact that I paid up front I would have ended my stay earlier. It does not help that I was dealing with the Southwest flight cancelation situation which is how I ended up at that hotel for 3 nights.
