Lamothe House

Love this place! I have a great room and the pool area is lovely. Perfect place to stay with extended family!

We are a family 5 who stayed at Lamothe house for 3 nights. It was amazing! This hotel was everything I hoped for in our trip to New Orleans - it was an amazing old French style house with real charm & character. The location was fantastic - close to everything in the French Quarter. The room was a great size for the 5 of us, and the beds were great & very comfortable!! An amazing stay....thanks!

The Lamothe House is truly a gem tucked away in a great location. My spouse was excited to bring me here after staying on other trips with family. It gives a real taste of the New Orleans lifestyle and history. We will definitely stay here again. Things to know. One, it's a very old building and exudes NOLA charm and character. If you're looking for a luxury experience or modern accommodations there are other options in town that may be better, but if you truly want to be a part of the city and culture stay here. Two, the location is great, my spouse is a lifelong second citizen of New Orleans, and she chose this as the perfect center of the French Quarter. Easy walking distance to everything and just far enough away to be quiet. Three, the staff were all exceptional, we had a small issue with our room lock and they bent over backward to have it fixed quickly.
