L'Auberge Casino Hotel Baton Rouge

I picked this property because I am a female traveling alone with my daughter. I don’t even gamble, but I knew (and was right) that there would be great parking, lots of lighting, lots of cameras & secure access to our rooms. The elevators have key activated floors. Even tho I was bringing my kid-I knew that the restaurants & pool don’t allow kids -but she was at a day camp so that didn’t matter to me. I notice ppl are upset over this-but they didn’t read the info on the hotel apparently. The room was beautiful, we got a riverside view. The bed was super hard-I had to lay on pillows. The water was nice & got really hot. Brand new fully renovated bathrooms. The carpet was frayed at the end where it connected to the wood floor like it was missing a strip or connection or something. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

The visit was great, since we were traveling with family the restaurants were limited. Although the restaurants we did utilize the food was wonderful.

Beware if you are staying with your children the pool is only available for 21 !! There is only 1 pool in the resort!

Really nice casino but booked not knowing that pool was for 21 and up. Our kids, we were disappointed to not use or find a pool on a sunday. Staff was very nice, even the two ladies at PJs were very hospitable by serving me the left over berry shake from our kids order. Rooms were super nice, showers were spectacular. No microwave or mini fridge in our rooms.

Very nice boutique casino with the amenities of a large Vegas style casino with an event center for concerts and very good dining options as well. The pool is awesome up in the 12 th floor. What is great you don’t see children running around. Valet parking is awesome and inexpensive. The location is close to great restaurants in the area and downtown and the LSU campus. Of course being next to the Mississippi River is beautiful. We would hope with the land they have, they may soon will develop a 9 hole or 18 hole golf course but again, we would prefer they don’t get too large where ther are not able to continue providing good customer service.

Mostly sharing the HOTEL part. Did not stay for casino. Checking in was supposed to be fast Because the man was using two PC’s same Person checking in two at a time But when I got to elevator my key didn’t work and I had with my an infant plus 2 other children. The pool is off season. There was left over stuff like eye drops etc from Previous guests in my Room. Overall if you’re not into casino this is not a good hotel to stay at. I booked it S a good transit place while we drove to alabama and my moms loves casino but then she didn’t travel with us.

Do NOT come with kids. I was told by the front desk the kids go to the gym if I went with them (19 and 20) and lady at the pool/gym would not let them. Kids are not allowed in the pool. Restaurants are in the casino, which kids cannot go (only 2 restaurants). I was told I could order room service at check in just to find out when I was trying to order that the 2 people who do room service were off that day. Therefore, kids could not go to pool, gym, or eat ANY food. I did cancel the reservation and for refund with no issues though. Just don’t stay here if you have kids. I ended up driving through the night to Texas cause I had no other hotel reservations and got no sleep until 3AM.

Property is very nice. I wish there were options for dining in and with kids items. we couldnt walk thru the casino to go to the Asian Place.
