Took great grandson to swim. But the pool was over crowded with kids. Kids were rude to my 6 years grandson so he chose not to swim (which was why we took him in the first place). I know it’s not the hotels fault. Except for that our stay was great as always

We reserved a room for a family of 7, one with a port-a-crib.. The hotel had no extra pillows for the pull out couch. We asked for some & the front desk said it wasn't possible. They had no extra pillows - ouch! Luckily the king-sized bed came with 4, so we put 3 on the couch bed for our 4 children. My wife used 1, and I used a rolled up blanket as my pillow. It took until 9:30p for the extra sheets to be delivered, by the same staff who checked us in! This place is obviously under-staffed. They need to train some of the breakfast staff to do housekeeping - there were people standing around all during breakfast. Second strike: the room was dirty. There were long, thick black hairs all over the bathroom floor. None of us have that kind of hair. I don't want to know what was on the floor where we couldn't see. We had three towels in the bathroom, and when we asked for more, yet again there were none available. The rest of our trip. Thank God it was only one night! Third strike: the pool was nasty. (No towels, of course, but you knew that from above.) There were huge chunks of hair floating all over and on the ground. Older kids playing WAY too roughly for our small kids to feel safe around. (They are good swimmers, but I wouldn't let them near that mess.) Lastly, people were smoking pot, drinking booze, and listening to loud music in the pool area! I can't make this stuff up. We've been here 4 separate times now, but no more. Stay far away from this hotel!

I checked in on Friday and had to check out early due to a family emergency. I told the front desk agent at the time that I had to check out early and she wrote down my room number 425. I’ve never received any folio from the hotel after checking out on Saturday 06/22/2024

Upon arrival at 4:30pm we were immediately hit with extreme humidity. Elevator was creaky and jerking. Once we reached room 515 again immediate humidity. We dropped temperature to 60 degrees and left for dinner reservations. Arrived back to room around 7:30 and literally my makeup in bags was melting. We had a family function to attend around 9:30 but did request a transfer to another room by this time the poor employees had box fans at front desk. Was informed of maintenance issues but would move us once we returned from family event. Arrived back around 12:30 am and we were moved to room 627 which had functioning air. The employees were very respectful and accommodating considering what I’m sure were numerous complaints. I would suggest in future you will start working on remodeling. Location is excellent but in future might choose another hotel. The Doubletree looked a little more updated. Bonita Hodges

The staff was friendly and helpful. I did not like the lobby seating area because it was dirty with hair on the floor. Also, the room had a slight "old" smell. It was noisy due to alot of kids running around at night. They even knocked hard on our door and ran off. Need better supervision

The room was old, damp smelling. Fixtures in the bathroom were not secured around faucet head. Showers head was old. Sofa sleeper old furniture. Breakfast serving containers were broke and made it difficult to serve yourself and keep container lids up while holding your plate. I didn't want to go for breakfast the next morning, for fear I was going to experience the same difficulties. Kids running the hallway at 11pm. I understand you are a family welcoming hotel but, yelling at 11pm should not be tolerated. There should be some decorum established for children.

Rooms are very outdated our first room the floor had puke staines on it, the second room the floor was just as dirty. Our first room the cabinet for the fridge as well as the pullout bed/chair were broken with a piece sticking out. Our kids also found an empty box of wine in one of the drawers which shows how little the check and clean.

Beautiful hotel. My family felt very safe in the parking lot as well. The only complaint I have is the carpet in our room felt damp.

Booked this hotel for Father’s Day. The rooms are outdated , dingy , wet spots in ceilings , old carpets , broken elevator glass , trash in hallways left by other people . We booked it because of the convenience of having an indoor pool . The water was so cold and although understandably full , people had brought in liquor and had loud music playing , not convenient for small kids . There was trash left in the hallways and people running around the hallways later in the evening . What I will brag about was the staff from the lady at the front desk to the bartender to the gentlemen cooking and the ladies cleaning the cafeteria. The employees were top tier !! The morning breakfast made up for all the inconvenience, it was amazing ! Our bartender was so so great and everyone tried their best to treat everyone the best they could . Guys making the omelettes were amazing as so was the food ! Will not book again due to the experiences we had and it’s sad because their food , bar , and employees are so great .
