My husband and I selected this hotel without much research. We received news of a family member passing suddenly so we were just trying to secure a room in a safe area. The check in process was fine. The receptionist didn’t tell us the Wi-Fi password was on the envelope of the room key cards. The hotel itself smelled of old food. The elevator was very sketchy — did not run smoothly and I was always concerned it would breakdown each time we needed to use it because of all the clanking in the machinery. The room was okay. Minimal extended-stay kitchen utensils. No dishwasher fluid. There was a desk with two chairs, which afforded my husband and I to bother WFH in the hotel room. The bathroom tub was stained and had several tiles near it that were lifting up from water damaged and needed to be replaced before mold developed from the mildew already present. Once again, minimal toiletries for a two-person reservation. I walked downstairs to get coffee and breakfast at 6AM to discover the coffee was cold and from the day before, and there was no breakfast whatsoever in the “breakfast room.” Check out was to be expected at this point. The receptionist didn’t really know what she was doing, openly admitted it, and had to call for her manager. The sign for the front desk that said “we’ll be back shortly, we’re helping other guests at the moment” was frequently used for the employees to have their smoke break. Very disappointed. Will do more research next time.

Stay away. Cleanliness is a 2.9 not 4.2. Unsettling atmosphere. I booked three nights based on the cleanliness rating of 4.2. The staff was very nice and volunteered that if the room was not up to my standards to just let them know and they would take care of it. When I entered the room I saw new carpeting, a nice soft bed and a new sink in the bathroom. As I went to out for dinner I said to the desk staff that “we have a winner”. They seemed surprised/ relieved. It wasn’t until I got back that I realized just how run down and dirty the hotel really is. Inside the refrigerator was grimy. Spaghetti sauce spatter on the wall. Grime on the wall hanging. Stains on the curtains and shears. Grime and dead bugs on the windowsill. Grime on the air conditioner and its grill. Stains on the duvet that appeared to have made it through the wash; possibly coffee but more likely blood. A hole in the bathroom door that looked like it was caused by a kick. Pink mold in the corners of the shower curtain. Black mold stains in the middle of the shower curtain. Dead winged bugs on the sink’s sill. A washcloth with a stain that matched the one on the duvet. The sink drained very slow. The hallway carpet was very stained and had streaks where luggage wheels caused the stains to come to the surface. In the lobby and outside in the parking lot, I observed at least 3 couples and 2 families having very serious conversations. Nothing obviously illegal or scary, but I found it unsettling. Never again.
