Holiday Inn Express Louisville Airport Expo Center, an IHG Hotel

The staff went above and beyond for my family. We were there for AAU basketball tournament and got back close to the pool closing time, the front desk staff said they would keep it open an additional hour so she could swim! The breakfast was very good, offering many hot options! We would stay here again!

There was a guy at the check in area saying it was his day off and he looked slouchy, like just hanging around, and there were crumbs on the floor in front of the check In desk. Also it looks like a lot of people are using the pool who did not stay here. And there were people still yelling in the pool after closing time last night. I booked this hotel so my kids could use the outdoor pool but didn’t realize this hotel is in a rougher area. Still the property was in good shape overall and pretty clean.

There was a musty smell in the room and i have a hard time believing that staff that clean that room havent smelt it. We did yell them when we left. Not worth saying before the. Noisy as many slamming doors into the morning. As a family that comes from many soccer tournaments, there seemedbto be some baseball teams there. They should put other families elsewhere. Also, the rooms do need some updating especially the bathrooms. Highway can be heard all the time. Also asked for a wakeup call which we never got. We have stayed at this hotel chain before, and will again, but not this one

Stayed here for an event at the nearby Expo Center. The room and the building itself and the grounds were all clean and well maintained. Beds were very comfortable. Hotel was surprisingly quite considering how many younger kids there were there. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a good variety to choose from. Provided shuttle ride to and from the Expo Center each day, which was a pleasant surprise since I had not noticed that when I made the reservation. Saved on parking fees and stress, considering the traffic along the route. Didn’t have a chance to try the pool (outdoor) or the fitness center but both seemed well maintained and well equipped. Overall, a very positive experience and very satisfied with the stay. Would definitely stay here again if I needed to travel to the area.

Very nice front desk staff. Breakfast was very good for a “free” breakfast. Bedding & beds were very comfortable. Great location for UofL family.

Room was not as big or spacious as shown in pictures. Greatly dissappointed. Was expecting some space! Also alot of loud young adults n kids in the halls through the evening. Mold in the heater. Got sick on vacation

The customer service and friendliness of the front desk staff was amazing and unmatched by other hotels in which we have stayed. We will absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to other families visiting their college kids.
