SureStay Plus by Best Western Louisville Airport Expo

My family and I were not able to stay at the hotel we originally booked. There was a “plumbing” problem. We were informed of the problem about 4 hours before we arrived. My overall issue is the hotel they booked, as a replacement, was not as nice. In other words we do not get what we originally paid for. The review is a KIND review of the hotel we stayed in.

The stay was very nice. My family and I booked a King side bedroom, which was spacious and smelled very clean. Everything is very modern. The only downside to the trip was that the pool was closed.

My family and I had a great stay at the hotel. It was quiet, comfortable, and the staff were super friendly. You can also tell it's been newly updated/renovated so it was overall very nice décor and super clean. Would definitely stay here again when we come in to town.

We were traveling with our 2 young children. I read a LOT of reviews and after looking for an hour and half i finally settled on this one and booked it. I was impressed. Check in was easy. We arrived at 3:30 am and there was a girl at the desk. After checking in I went out and got the children and our overnight bag and went it. We were on the first floor. It was easy to access. I didn't look around much because we were extremely tired. I closed the curtains and hung the "do not disturb" sign outside on the door. The beds were comfortable and we slept very very well. My normally earlier risers slept til 10am! Checkout is 11am so that was nice. It was quick and easy check out. Thanks to other reviews I knew there would be a $100 security deposit so that didn't bother us. I did think the bed felt a bit "damp".. Hubby thought maybe it was high humidity in the room. But it seemed really clean and I was impressed. I'm a bit of a "hotel snob" so that's saying a lot! Lol

Only stayed one night at this hotel, but it was amazing. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds. If I’m coming through the area again will for sure being staying at this hotel. My family and I were very happy.

Kind of like this hotel, it's really convenient, the Kentucky Kingdom is just about 2 miles away. The hotel is really clean, the staff is really friendly and helpful. In addition, breakfast also included, and what I mean, they are good breakfast, you can eat bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuit, hot coffee, apple juice, orange juice, gravy, raisin bread to just name a few, which not only fuel the energy you need for starting your day and trip, but also make it so convenient instead of driving around the area to find a place to eat breakfast. The only thing I don't like is that it is so close to the airport, I can hear the loud noise when airplanes taking off and arriving at the airport. But other than that, I really like it, my husband said we definitely come back if we decide to come to Kentucky next year. Forgot to mention, there is also a swimming pool, my family and I had such a good time there. But I just hope next time when we stay in this hotel, we will not encounter other customers holding a party, drinking and smoking around the pool.

The AC and refrigerator did not work. Both were warm. The thermostat on the wall was broke and hanging off the wall. The ac unti did not cool making the room very hot. Bathroom lock is on the outside of the door. If not careful ot gets locked when going in. Dangerous for children. Very loud with people running the hallways and knocking on doors all hours of the night. We had to be up amd ready dor tournament the next morning but had people banging on our door at 4 am.
