Tru by Hilton Louisville Airport

Great location near Kentucky Kingdom. Fun lobby with pool table, connect 4 and other family games. Nice updated rooms and cool overall look.

I think that this is an good hotel. It was quiet even filled with groups of kids going to the State Fair. We did have a toilet that did not like to flush. I also feel that they need to mop rooms without carpet more often because sweeping does not get all the dirt off the floor. While staying in a handicap room getting out of the shower was very slippery water tends to flow over the bathroom floor. Placing a towel down does not seem to help this. May be a different kind of bath mat.

First time that we have stayed at Hilton Tru. Will not be staying again. Way over priced for a hotel that had no closets, no dresser to put your clothes. Breakfast was very poor. No Pastries. No room service unless you begged for it. Nothing special at all. This property catered to kids and families but not older adults.If I had children even I would not be staying here.

Very clean, staff was so friendly and nice. I love that toiletries were eco-friendly. Bed was pretty HARD but not terrible and feather pillows way under-filled - if you can bring your own pillows - do! Our room was small but had everything we needed with a mini-fridge, iron and ironing board, BIG tv. Nice desk and chair. No microwave or coffee pot BUT the lobby has free coffee or tea round the clock. Breakfast was decent, free, and all you can eat with plenty of choices eggs, sausage, a pancake conveyer belt machine kids would love, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, cereals, and beyond. Pros: the modern colors and pop-art design features, cleanliness (so clean), fun family games and pool table in the lobby, onsite gym, friendly staff, ease of uber use, free breakfast, eco-friendly tolietries, brand new hotel, and late night quiet. Cons: no bathroom exhaust fan (hot showers make the room humid), a concerning natural gas smell in the hallways, very hard mattress, terrible pillows, a little pricey. We would definitely stay again, and plan to see out Tru by Hilton Hotels in the future.

Well maintained luxurious hotel. Great for families and business trip. Breakfast bar well organized with variety of food options.
