Hampton Inn Dry Ridge

Staff was very friendly. Everything was clean and quiet. Pool was nice and well maintained. Breakfast was very good with many options for family.

So many things that went wrong here. From the moment I tried to check in, reserved a 2 queen room and they had me and my family in a 1 king bed room. Was charged a premium to get into a queen room. Once we got into the room, the bathroom had a broken tile right in the middle of the bathroom. Tile would stick up and was extremely sharp. The shower drain was plugged and not draining because someones hair was clogging the drain . Was nasty. Was really disappointed with this one.

The stay was pleasant, staff very friendly and hot breakfast with waffles was very well liked by the kids.

Very clean, large rooms! Close to the Ark, but not right beside it, so there were plenty of places to shop and eat. The pool was a nice size. Very family friendly place to stay. The staff was absolutely phenomenal. Very nice, super accommodating. Will absolutely stay again next time we visit the ark.

I am not one for reviews but this place was horrible. The room was nasty with cob webs. Holes in the ceiling and walls. The tile shower that was supposed to be a tub/shower combination when booked, was so filthy. The entire bottom was black with mold. We went to Walmart to buy cleaning supplies and a floor mat because we had a toddler with us that does not take showers. If it would not have been so late when we discovered this we would have stayed elsewhere!! We checked out a day early and when my husband told the desk clerk her response was you will still be charged for the night. I do not recommend this place at all!

Not what I expected from a Hampton Inn and especially for the price. The room was just ok. Nothing special. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and the AC unit was loud and rattling all night long. The windows and mirrors looked smeared as if cleaned half ass-ly Overall the room looked outdated, but was just that. OK. Staff at the desk were very nice as well as breakfast staff. One cleaning lady did not seem to like us though. She was kind and held the elevator for one family. But did not even smile, much less hold it for us. Not sure what that was about. Breakfast was decent. However the eating area was too small therefore packed. Overall OK stay. Probably will try some place else next time.

Booked through hotels.com pictures on website showed 2 queens and a pull out. I booked that room. Once we arrived we received a 2 queen bed room…no pull out. It was me, my mom, and my five children in a 2 queen bed room. Not comfortable. Hotel was full so they couldn’t do anything for us except drop out rate. Customer service was great and the breakfast was amazing! Room had mold growing on ceiling in bathroom and I did tell front desk. Nothing was said however. Will not book through a third party again. Call THE hotel you are making a reservation for to make sure it is EXACTLY what you need.

Somewhat run-down and not very clean. VERY noisy. An unsupervised group of middle-school aged kids were in the pool and screaming until 'quiet hours' began at 11pm. Also the people above us were merely walking but it sounded like stomping back and forth for house. That continued well after midnight. They said they had the same problem with the people above them. A toilet had leaked near the pool and when my mother reported it to the desk clerk they sharply brushed her off saying it was just water from the pool, but it was clearly not as it was leaking from the bottom front of the toilet. They finally did go in and clean it up. The housekeeping staff were very kind when we asked for a late check out. I did enjoy the comfort of the bed. Great location to go to the Ark Encounter.

When checking into our room it was dirty and had dishes and the beds were not made and we were switched to another room. At first we were just happy to be into a clean room but then that night we had a front desk worker knock on our door with their hand covering the peep hole at 11:15 saying they had complaints that we were too loud. We were asleep and my child was up using the bathroom yet down the hall was Loud music, fighting and slamming doors all night long. Makes no sense. But we let it go and didn’t say anything.what upset us and ruined our stay was when checking out early the next day, we thought it went well for our receipt said thank you and left only to find out that we were rechecked in and charged another night when we were already checked out. I had to call several times just to speak with someone about the Matter and was treated like it wasn’t a big deal. Which is was because we were charged another 208.00 without authorization after they knew we checked out. Unhappy with the experience.

Clean and comfortable beds. W ref and microwave. Will refer your place to friends and family who are interested to see Ark and creation museum.
