Fairfield Inn & Suites Lexington Berea

Even though the hotel was under construction and our air conditioner stopped working, they Quickly repaired and replaced the air conditioner. The breakfast was very good. Lots of selections and the kids love the pool. They even let us check in early.

This hotel had a wonderful breakfast! There was a big group eating all at once and they did a great job keeping everything stocked and hot. Our family was very inpressed and thankful!

I understand they are going through a rebrand, but the property and room itself was very disappointing. I specifically booked a suite with a pull out sofa bed because we have a toddler. When we checked in, no room with that option was available, and the staff didn't make any effort to help. The room we were given had dead bugs, a huge cracked window (which was open when we walked in for the first time), very hard mattresses, and the breakfast was mostly gone by the time we went down. I would not stay here again, especially with a toddler.

King room was huge. My kid loved the big jacuzzi tub.

We came up for a weekend to visit with family. The rate was very fair for the region. The cleaning staff went out of their way to assure that we had everything we needed. Breakfast was good and hot. No complaints that I can think of.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful, if I had to rate them-- they would get 5 stars. But the hotel may look nice and "newer," but in reality it's like band-aid covering a giant wound. First, the hotel sign was blown off or broken-- you wouldn't be able to spot the hotel without using a GPS. Second, the room. The ceiling was filled with random colored stains, outlets covers were too small and you can see inside the walls, the bathrooms were filled with mold in the grout lines, the lights worked one minute-- then the next time it didn't, there was a stink bug that came from the curtains in the middle of the night and scared my kids, no channel guide provided (so you just had to keep scrolling through every channel.) Overall, just not worth the money. The pros: excellent staff, usb chargers throughout room, beds were decent, carpets were clean, check-in and check-out were easy.
