Rhythm City Casino and Resort

Enjoyable stay with the family on spring break. A microwave would be a nice touch in rooms. Pool towels in the pool and a clock would be nice, there’s space for it. The amenities are many! We enjoyed our suite with a view.

First time staying at the resort casino. We booked the place based on reviews on their spa as we wanted a romantic get away. Place was clean and overall the staff was very friendly. Room was beautiful. Loved the room and casino floor. They seem to really care about the upkeep of the place and everything seemed clean and welcoming. Spa staff was very friendly. We were a little concerned as a gay couple coming to Iowa how we would be treated. The hot tub and steam showers were very nice. The massage was amazing! The massage therapists were FANTASTIC and made us feel very comfortable! The bad on my experience only: The front of the house wasn't able to answer basic questions on the restaurants, or spa (like hours of operation or type of food).There wasn't relaxing music in the relaxing spaces before the massage. So the hot tube and steam shower lacked atmosphere. The relaxation room wasn't relaxing. It was a small room with a TV playing sports without aroma therapy or freshments. All that being said it was still worth it. Could not get a double mixed drink on the casino floor (I'm guessing that is a law), and one of the casino bars is cash only. Overall this was a great stay and we plan to come back when visiting family in the area. I would recommend this place and treat yourself to a massage!

Convince for family get together

We love everything about this property EXCEPT coming back with breakfast for the family @ 9am to find housekeeping quietly peeping into the peep hole to see if room was still occupied. What happened to knocking to announce housekeeping? One light knock they would have had their answer.

Front desk staff very dismissive when we had to call to file complaint about extremely noisy party next door- extremely loud adults using foul language up & down halls, kids running & screaming in room & halls, and-smoking marijuana- made entire floor smell awful. Called front desk a 2nd time, finally told us to come down & get keys for new room. The party carried over in to the pool/hot tub/ fitness center even after complaints to security AND front desk. Poor customer service & disappointing they tolerate such disruptions. Otherwise clean & nice hotel/casino. Need more restaurants & food options.

Check in was nice, quick, and friendly. Explained everything to us even about pool hours. We had 2 kids with us and we went to room (passing pool on way) changed to swim suits and back down pool was closed for the rest of the night. Kids were very disappointed.
